The Manchester United Thread

Etienne Mendy (forward) and Mouhamed Dabo (midfielder) from Senegal, both born in 2008, are on trial at Manchester United with a view to a permanent transfer

Results round up. U16,u18,u21 all won this weekend.

The women’s team lost the first left leg on Thursday night 0-1 despite a dominant performance. So need to win next weekend to stay in the CL.

"It's not something that is happening now. It's happening now because we cannot win a lot of titles and that adds more pressure to every player, but we've had these kind of moments at this kind of club.

Is this guy living in dream world??
"Not winning a lot of titles"??

You aren't winning football matches, you gobs.hite!! Never mind titles

“I accept, it is not a record you should have at Manchester United. There are a lot of things you have no idea what has happened.

"But I am not going to change my philosophy. I play my way and I am going to play my way."

Not even worth a punt at the bookies.
All the best lad 👋

Surely Berrada goes if Amorim gets the boot, too. Since he was the one who advocated for him and had Ashworth leave.

There’s a reason City weren’t remotely A to lose him as he was one of the least important factors behind the scenes there. And he’s just contributed to the Amorim mess by forcing him to join Utd mid-season when he didn’t want to. And then compounding that by not backing the manager with players he openly stated he needed to make his system work through Utd’s abysmal window.

No question Amorim is completely and utterly out of his depth. But he’s been completely hung out to dry by the INEOSGlazzers ineptness in not backing their own man.

They’ve set him up for failure. And no amount of folk laughing at that in here is changing the reality of the situation.
