Everyone said this about Middlesbrough?

When we signed the SPL's 'best talent' and Kris Boyd?

Now everyone's realised what an absolutely abysmal league the Scottish League is because of how poor Strachan was and how poor the players he bought were. Only difference is Leicester have spent on players who have played in the Championship before, I will be surprised if they finish top 2, think they are a shoe in for the playoffs.

who are your top 2? and play off teams?

Not as scared for Birmingham anymore. Still a decent team and Im not including Dann etc in that although I still love him.
Myhill
Carr-Davies-Caldwell-Ridgewell
Redmond/Burke-Gomis/Fahey-Mutch/Spector-Beasejour
Rooney/Zigic-King/Wood.

Rule number one of the Championship is you generally can't predict it so I'm not even going to try.

You couldn't usually descirbe a game involving Blackpool as 'dull', but this game has been just that. Hopefully there maybe an exciting finish...

What a finish from DJ Campbell, and well done to Blackpool. Hull really should of finished that chance in the closing stages, and took a draw though. Blackpool shouldn't get too excited yet, but a strong win away from home, a perfect way to start the season.

DJ Campbell?....

QPR playing tonight??

Yes, and he's right, Campbell did score for us ;) with his 2nd touch in a QPR shirt! wooo, although maybe he's not talking about the QPR V Luton friendly, who knows....we lost 3-1 too

Oh **** my bad. I don't know how I said DJ Campbell :O I meant Gary Taylor-Fletcher yes, woops! :$

I am very exicted for today. As much as I wish I could be there in Shrewsbury, I can't, but I just pass all my luck to the Players & Peter Reid. You've done the club proud to get to the start of the new season, and the positive vibes coming from the camp, will only push is in the right direction. We have a strong squad- Nelson & Zubar formed a great partnership in League One, but somehow we've managed to keep them. Fletcher is our captain fantastic, and Walton will have a lot to prove. Hourhane looks an exciting player, as does Luke Daley- And Warren Feeney will lead the line with a promising Tom Hitchcock. I don't think we are made of Champions- That honour will go to Southend in my opinion, with the expierence of Paul Sturrock, who's been there and done that. Maybe, we can make a playoff push- My heart says, we'll have a good season. My head says, after the last 3 years of dross, listen to your heart.
COYG!

Opening Day has arrived with many a yeovil fan extremely exited about the forthcoming season, me included. skivo has made some quality signings and has sucsessfully replaced our top scorer and the club now have 5 strikers, more than ever before. the midfeild looks strong with upson, wotton, supergav gibson, edgar, blizzard. and the defence also looks tough, with 3 good centre backs and some strong and attacking wing backs! this season looks promising!!!

Really excited for the game today, wont be there obviously but Jeff Stelling/The boys will keep me updated.

2-0 Middlesbrough is my prediction.

Not a fan of our new keeper Ikeme, think he's appaulling, but no better options since Steele is injured.

Want to see:

GK-Ikeme (Would prefer Ripley)
RB- Bennett/Mcmahon
CB-McManus
CB-Williams
LB-Bates
RM-Martin
CM-Robson
CM-Smallwood
LM-Zemmamma
RS-Emnes
LS-McDonald

Optimistic for next season, Martin will either be really good or flop but on a free contract it's not much of a risk.

We are going to humiliate Barnsley, 3-0. George Boatebg hattrick. I reckon it will be about 3-0 though, well... I hope we win. And I really want Cov to beat Fester, cannot stand them.

Boateng hat trick.

Now you're talking!

The guy is an engine, still seen as a legend who we sold too soon...

McLaren/Boateng...I might just root for NFFC this season.

I like that midfielder you signed a while ago as well, Moussi.

Moussi has his days. Was quality last season right until he got injured. I'm looking forward to seeing Jesus play (Greening). But yes, to say Boateng is 35, I bet he's still quality.
