Not the start big Sam wanted. Cardiff 1 West Ham 0 90+ mins Kenny Miller with goal

Get in there Cardiff, back to earth for the ever-deluded Big Sam.

Wycombe 1 - 1 Scunthorpe

96th minute Dagnall disallowed goal, I was furious. We had four guilt edged chances to win but have no one to put the ball into the back of the net. Hopefully Michael Raynes going to Rotherham has something to do with Le Fondre coming to us...... very much doubt it.

It is nice to be going to "real" football stadiums in league one as opposed to the generic new ones that are in the championship

Yorkshires year in League 1 ! Swfc, Sufc, and Huddersfield to go up ! (hopefully)

Hi all, just thought I'd see if anyone would be interested in having a look at the blog I've just started. Here it is: The Championship Chat

It's about life in the Championship through the eyes of a Crystal Palace fan, I'm hoping that I'll update regularly with posts you'll all find interesting, being football fans and all :) Thanks in advance!

Forest on the brink of signing Wesley Verhoek from ADO Den Haag, apparently. Few Forest forums reckon its a done deal and theres the odd dutch webpage here and there.

THAT goal meant so much.

It wasn't just a point gained today, we regained our pride.

When Fletcher's shot hit the back of the net the frustration of the last 12 months was unleashed by everyone connected to PAFC. Fletch knew it, the players knew it and the fans certainly knew it. Apart from Wembley finals etc has a goal ever been celebrated more by the players and fans - together as one?

One of the best posts I've seen from someone on PASOTI. And seems up the general feeling of Plymouth Argyle fans- Who gives a **** what happens off the pitch, when we have on-the-pitch performances and players putting their 100% best every match. COYG.

Pumped for exeter tomorow! hopefully sat was just a blip on the radar! my first time to their stadium, should be a good day! wanna see agard and williams involved at some point as well as edgar who looks to be a great signing if skivo gives him a chance he could shine!

poor defeat away to Southampton but oh well. We lost the first game of the season last season so hopefully we improve, starting by destroying Bradford city in the Carling cup tomorrow!

Kill em with a fallon hatrick!

I have given Steven Maclean, Rory Fallon and Bondz N'Gala my authorisation to smash Exeter.

Also, that match is a tribute to Adam Stansfield- The luck of the draw is, Stansfield played for both Exeter & Yeovil. RIP To a great man.

He was indeed a great player! he worked incredibly hard to improve and had one of the best off field attitudes i have ever seen in a footballer also a great goal scorer, i hope the yeovil faithful are out in force tomorrow to pay tribute to a player who died a year on Wednesday! You'll never be forgotten

Epic opening day performance by Charlton, 3-0 against Bournemouth, a side who got in the playoffs last year (admittedly they have lost some key players )

Dale Stephens was different class, spraying passes around like Gerrard and the whole team looked more balance then it has in a while. Wagstaff, who is not expected to be a first team player this year, staked a claim for a first team place by scoring an absolute cracker on the volley, well worth seeing if you get the chance. Not going to get carried away but encouraging signs, and this without Danny Green in the side!

Was really looking forward to seeing us play Reading in the LC tomorrow, but ******* London riots mean one of the few games I might get to see this season has been called off :( Still looking forward to the top of the table clash between us and Notts County, hopefully we beat those dirty bastards, especially that elbowing, murdering ******* Lee Hughes.

No offence intende but you guys were ***** on saturday! after the last time we played you at st marys and only just beat you 1-0 i was expecting a tight end to end game but we were the only team that seemed to turn up. All michael brown seemed to do was foul people. Do you have an injury problem with strikers cause i was expecting to see bechio also that would explain the 4-5-1

Accrington tonight. So excited should be a decent cup game after Saturdays performance

no offence taken! I didn't see the game but we sounded poor. We play 4-5-1 away from home to try and protect defense which is *****! Brown is meant to be our defensive kind of midfielder but I guess he didn't do a very good job :P Yes both Bechio and Somma were injured (best 2 strikers tbh) which is unfortunate. Hoping Gradel and Snodgrass can carry us until Bechio is fit again

Snodgrass didn't seem to do anything much. You looked much better when you went 4-4-2 with nunez and paynter. Howson looked good in midfield as did gradel, he has PACE. He needs to calm down a bit though, he just blows up every now and again like when there was a 50/50 penalty appeal and when he fouled harding but he deffo has the potential to play in the prem!
