Going to my first west ham game of the season since getting my season ticket on sunday after coming back from holiday :D I think Leeds will give West ham a really good game but im going to predict a 2-0 win for west ham with Parker scoring and also Carew netting his first hammers goal :)

Carew has got nothing on Habib Habibou.

Waiting for MFC to play Notts Forest at the City Ground then I will finally make it to see Haroun in action.

Talk that Boro are going in to sign ex Madrid defender Gary Kagelmacher, fee would be around 825k euros.

Habib Habibou+Gary to add to Faris and I'll be honest...That would be a brilliant summer.

Haaaaaaaaaaarold, Haaaaaaaaaaarold, Haaaaaaaaaaarold!
My mate's a Wycombe fan and he said he was aids.... I'm paraphrasing of course

pfft... Parents are imaginative :S

My fears for today are growing- Without Fletcher we look a little lost at points. Its clear playing a striker at RB isn't working, and leaving Curtis Nelson on the bench is making matters worse. For me, shift Soukouna to RB- Zubar at CB for this match, to deal with the strength of the Gillingham Attack. Fans also calling for Larrieu to be re-instated back in goal, but Reid is more than expierenced enough to know, dropping a keeper after a couple mistakes won't help anything- If Larrieu makes a mistake that costs us points, what does he do then? For me, we could be lose this one 5-0. The tippy-tappys nice, but we need to make defenders work. We need to run at them, make those killer passes. For the first time this season, I am being a tad pessemistic- But, if we show that fighting spirit we had against Shrewsbury, the flair we had for the first 50 minutes at Rotherham, who knows... Who knows...

This is ******* awful, had one man sent off and saved the penalty, and lost a goal from a free kick, both of which were apparently soft according to the sky commentary and Radio Devon, but I'm not at the match so can't really say too much. Our strikers are starting to come back from injury, Nardiello and Bauza are both playing, but neither are match fit, because of recent injuries, and Logan, O'Flynn and Bignall (who is one of the worst strikers I've seen at SJP) are all out, so our only fully fit striker is 17 year old Tom Nicholls. We tend to start weakly though, hopefully we'll pick up towards the end, and the rest of the team isn't looking too bad, a bit of luck, and some returns form injury and I think we can turn this around and finish mid table.

OMG the best performance I've seen ever from the Dons today, absolutely clobbered Chesterfield from the start, plus a contender for goal of the season from super Sammy Baldock :D

In all fairness, I did say we would lose today :P And another positive, we aren't in the relegation zone yet!

It does make me wonder- Does Ridsdale want success on the pitch? And if so, after the takeover jazz has been completed, will he seek to make changes in regards to Peter Reid? Now, I'm all for Peter Reid and personally if he was sacked then I wouldn't be happy. There are some fans who aren't content with managerial abilities of him, but who would we replace him with? Its a young squad, for me the only manager who is out the market [and realistically speaking] who would maybe make some improvement would be Trollope. The rest [Paul Hart has been metioned] would do no better than Reid- So Ridsdale, have some patience. I have patience, its a young squad, give them time to blend. My worries are though, we lack confidence. Each 2nd half of games this season, we get shot down. If we don't bring in an expierenced striker soon, I think it will be another relegation battle.

Great game today! We ground out the win which is something we have strugled to do for a while.
Shame about the post match violence :( Pretty scary when its up close like that.

So um. Are you looking foward to the Johnstone Paint match against us?

Cant wait to see Haroun in action for Boro, I know youtube doesnt tell a lot about a player but he looks like a decent technical player, hopefully he can link up well between the midfield and attack and that might lead to McDonald being more offensive and scoring along with Emnes :). Think we need another striker, and Mowbray said he is looking for one to sign.

A fellow Boro fan?

Habib Habibou has been taken on trial, he's a 6 foot 4 ST with potential and resale value.

Engelaar still a target along with Gary.

probably going to lose to West Ham but hoping for a surprise and a good performance. Btw BATES OUT!

Off toThe west ham game very soon and I'm excited as I really think it's going to be a good game. Is a shame Becchio is out injured I would of liked to see him play live.

Middlesborough 0-1 Birmingham ADAM ROONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (pen)

yup :) great win today, another 3-1 win from 1-0 down, apparantly martins goal was a beast, and HAROUN yas :)

Brian, you missed the following 3 goals?!?!

Awesome display by MFC, and what a goal by Martin.

10 points from a possible 12 and an Emnes hat trick in the League cup...

Things really are looking good at the Riverside, can't wait to see them in action myself when they play at the City Ground.

I'm hearing he did well from an EG journalist I was DMing over twitter about the match.

I haven't been to an MFC game in years because I don't live up there, but Haroun/Martin/Rhys Williams were outstanding.

Rhys Williams=One of the best young players in English football in my opinion, I can see someone like City signing him...

He is physically so strong, can play DM/CB/LB and has good usage of the ball.

Alot of PL teams have been in for him this summer, Gibson told them he's not for sale.

Emnes didn't do so well without McDonald apparently, but a win is a win...

Awful GKing by Ikeme for their penalty...

Malaury Martin=Brilliant signing in my opinion, check out his goal at the end.
