Charlton 2 - 2 Scunthorpe United

2-0 down with 17 minutes to go but we pulled it back to earn a good point. At half time Reid went off and Canavan came on in his place and we looked more solid. When Jimmy Ryan came off the bench we kept the ball better and looked more of a threat.

Newcastle on Thursday on Sky Sports.... play the kids. Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, I can see us getting something out of that given our away performances so far this season.

seen that video a few hoursa ago actually :P yeah Martins goal was decent :) Harouns wasnt the best but ah well got himself into the position and finished :). Hmm don't agree 100% with the Williams comment, he is a great player but maybe like 8th - 12th standard of player, hopefully get into the perm this year and we see how he does up there.

Ridsdale?

Although it appears Zubar reason for leaving is Ridsdale telling a few porkies to get him to sign a new contract, at this stage, there is no point in going around blaming Ridsdale. His aim is the same ours, saving the football club from going bust, and we have to unite to achieve that. An already inexpierenced squad, down a key player, if we survive it will be a long season.

Charlie macdonald to mk dons and sam baldock to west ham or southampton
Hopefully, he has a bit of pace on him and we need that!

Can't wait for Leicester (sp) tomorrow!! First away game for me this season.

Sheffield Wednesday away today :D I go into this game high on confidence which will probably mean we will lose 4-0 like last time I went there. :(

lost again to Ipswich (who conceded 7 last week!) after being 1-0. Got another red card which is just stupid we've had so many already. Not the best of starts to the season. If only Bates would actually invest in the club *sigh*

This sounds interesting, what happened? 8-|

well i think the reff was the cause of it all he had no clue about anything to do with the game of football, as soon as united realised this they began diving and conning the reff at every opportunity. they scored early on but it was disallowed as they shoved steer out the way, then about 5 mins they claimed the ball was in the back of the net again however steer had it in his hands and resumed play, the reff asked the lino and the lino gave it, you cannot give a goal unless it is 100% over the line. the fans of united argued that it was over the line by providing a picture of the first non goal as it crossed the line. he reff then went on to send off curtis haynes brown for a second bookable offence when he won the ball and after the ball had been taken away from the united player he fell over. he also missed what i certanally thought was a penalty where huntington was brought down at a corner as he was going for the ball. wow rant over

gates4000 the linesman interferred at Sheffield Wednesday v Scunny yesterday aswell. The Ref gave us a penalty but the Sheffield Wednesday players crowded the linesman and he then spoke to the ref and it got overturned. Must be a Sheffield thing.

Wow thats a first, watched Iain Turner, Preston's keeper score on Saturday! Don't think I'm ever gonna see that again!
