After facing Ryan Lowe against Bury on Saturday and conceding a goal against him, we now have to face him again against Sheff Wed :@

We have brought in Michael Smith from Darlington if anybody knows who he is or anything about him? Supposed to be a promising striker adding to the club's new policy of bringing in young players with re-sale value.

But the best news of today is that Paul Benson stayed :)
 
On deadline day we signed Damien Mozika from Bury and Shane Duffy on loan from Everton. Not bad, we needed to add to our thin squad but would have liked to see a striker come in. Overall quite pleased :).
 
Floating around twitter, and a little something on SSN, players could be striking for Saturdays match as the takeover issue still drags on. Peter Reid said he'll put a "squad of some form" out for the match against Burton Albion. Personally, its about time the players went on a strike, this is a joke. I'm not sure if any other club has had its players 'strike' ahead of a match before, but it looks as though a youth team could be put out on Saturday.

I really feal for everyone involved with the club. From fans to players to the cleaners etc. TBH most footballers would have left the club to go and play somewere else by now and that just shows the dedication of the players! I hope it all gets sorted out sharpish otherwise i fear this could drag on for some while :(
 
Get well soon Dan Seaborne. Hopefully he can make a speady recovery and return to first team football (however I don't think that will be happening any time soon:( )

Been on holiday mate and I only watched the highlights because of this rant. The second yellow is because your guy tripped our player as he was chasing the ball and IMO deserve to go as it was pretty cynical. The first challenge was diabolical too. As for the goal, Your telling me that if you think the ball went over the line you wouldn't celebrate. Sounds a bit like sour grapes to me.
 
40% Pay, 100% Commitment- Top stuff again lads, and a goal! Still bottom of the league, and without a win, but hey that will come in due course.
 
Scunthorpe 1 - 1 Colchester. And I am furious! what a **** ref we had today. We bossed most of the game and an individual error in the build up to their goal was what denied us the three points. Bobby Grant scored his 6th goal in 5 games and then deservedly got sent off for two bookings. The first for a blatant dive in the box and the second for pushing one of their defenders... what an idiot!

Having said all that best performance of the season and im sure we will get three points in our next game. A nice easy one against Sheffield United :(

You are our bogey team and all good things must come to an end and I have a feeling it may happen next week. No matter how well we are playing I will always find some pessimsm somewhere.

Another good win for us today though despite Bury being the dirtiest team I have seen for a long time. Efe Sodje swinging elbows around every time he leaped for a header. Also the ref didn't seem to be playing for handballs. The only way he would have given one was if someone had caught it took all the air out and pumped it back in again.

Yep I think its 5 wins and 1 draw in our last 6 against you including a 4-0 win at your place last season :D. I think you will take this one though. We aren't bad going forward but at the back we are bordering on terrible so unless you are equally as bad its going to be 7 league games without a win.

Are you going to the game?

Not sure yet but I think it will be a good game. I went last year but the less said about that game the better.
