I was there tonight, you had numerous chances but we defended very well. Nicky 'Micky' Maynard was awful and 1.6m for him looks like brilliant business, 2 points from 2 games to seal survival. DEL BOYS CIDER ARMYYY

It did sound like you defended well, so credit where its due. I also found it pretty funny the Bristol City fans booing Maynard because he is your leading goalscorer this year with 8 goals and who knows where you would be without his contribution. Just found it funny. You will stay up, Coventry wont win their last 2 games, the only team Id be worried about is Portsmouth.

Portsmouth are the only team that i'm worried about also. However their remaining games are Derby and Forest which isn't easy. We beat Barnsley saturday and we are safe. Nicky Maynard hasn't been the same since his terrible injury last year. All the best in the play-offs.

Well done to Reading tonight, happy they went up as a Chelsea fan living in Portsmouth its an easy ish away game to go to next season. Just hope Southampton go up too as that is even easier (hope my mates don't see this). On that subject well done to Pompey, they will still go down but atleast they are going down fighting after everything they have been through this season.

Reading will not be an easy place to go to, I can assure you that. They will invest heavy in the summer with the money they would have made and also from their Billionaire Russian owner.

My worry for them is that the summer break will disrupt their brilliant momentum. However lets see who they sign first.

It could work both ways really. Looking forward to seeing them next season. Bristol City have been brilliant of late. Unlucky not to beat Brums and if im honest could have taken all 3 against us tonight. The early part of the season maybe your biggest regret?

Early part of the season was under Keith Millen who is a good coach but not a great manager tactically. Now we have Del and Doc we look alot better, we've had dodgey spells but we've beaten Southampton home and away, unbeaten against West Ham and have a good record against the teams around us. Derek was also given the task of keeping us up which he looks like doing. Next season we could have a good season if he makes a few good signings and cuts down the squad size. This is all if we stay up though!

I do think you will stay up. Coventry wont beat Southampton. Portsmouth need 6 points from the last remaining 2 games. I can see them beating Derby but I cant see them beating Nottingham Forrest. You really only need 1 more point out of the last remaining 2 games and your next game against Barnsley I think you can easily win.

1 point wouldn't do us any good as if Pompey or Coventry win both their games and we pick up 1 point we go down on goal differance. 2 points minimum is required however I cant see either of them winning both games. I think we should beat Barnsley aswell seeing they are in dire form at the minute.

Mathematically yes, but realistically I cant see them doing it either. Barnsley have looked poor most of the season and they seem to struggle to score goals, I think you will be fine.

Congratulations to Reading. Pleased to see them go up as they are a good club and I like Brian Mcdermott. Also I want West Ham to stay down as we tend to have good games against them (sorry FM Nutter!)

Haha, no worries its fine. I personally don't want us to go up this year. Another season in the Championship would do us good I think. I hate the play off's too, I'm such a nervous wreck it's unreal. I remember the play off Finals against Crystal Palace and then against Preston, my god I cannot describe how I was feeling. This time round, I don't think we will win the play-offs. We need to get another manage in and a few more players, particularly at the back.

I think West Ham will crumble in the play offs, they're the team that's expected to win them. Don't think they will deal with the pressure but you never know. I'd say Birmingham or Blackpool to win the play offs, we all know what Cardiff's record in play offs is like (about as bad as leeds :P)

I know Cardiff have been big time bottlers, but its a completely different team going in as least favourites rather than favourites so less expectation, if we make it and show the courage we've shown all year, i'm not confident we'd win it but so, so proud of the team this year, only expected mid-table never thought about playoffs and a cup final, Malky has been tremendous and breath of fresh hair after the stale atmosphere of Dave Jones

And congratulations Reading - thoroughly deserved and an ex Cardiff player as manager playing top football - good luck next season

Championship team of the year:

Kelvin Davies (Southampton)

Nathaniel Clyne (crippled alice)
James Tomkins (WHU)
Curtis Davies (Birmingham)
Ian Harte (Reading)

Adam Lallana (Southampton)
Peter Wittingham (Cardiff)
Mark Noble (WHU)
Matt Phillips (Blackpool)

Rickie Lambert (Southampton)
Jay Rodriguez (Burnley)

League 1 team of they year:

Ben Hamer (Charlton)

Jack Hunt (Huddersfield)
Michael Morrison (Charlton)
Harry Maguire (Sheff U)
Rhoys Wiggins (Charlton)

Stephen Quinn (Sheff U)
Stephen Gleeson (MK dons)
Darren Potter (MK dons)
Johnnie Jackson (Charlton)

Ched Evans (Sheff U)
Jordan Rhodes (Huddersfield)

I'm not sure how Ben Hamer is there, as he has been shaky at times and is pretty much the only player I think we need to replace next season. How Chris Solly is not at right back is an absolute joke tbh. Also I think Sheffield Wednesday, specifically Danny Batth/ Reda Johnson can consider themselves unlucky. A lot of criticism for Evans being in there as well after all that's happened.
