well neville doesnt play, and scholes and giggs are still among the top midfielders in the league

Evra, vidic, Van der Sar all still at United. we dont even know why rooney wants to leave yet
 
i'd want both, to be honest.

$of course with about £40-£70 million as well. we could use that to sign either Luis Suarez, (despite his world cup handball) or, if we want to go the route we went with Rooney, Baxter or Carrol.

seeing Wayne Rooney is another English clubs colours would be like seeing an ex girlfriend (who you still love) with another guy :(

Maybe it's because money talks in football now. Before, it was all about passion and being the best. Now it's about who can earn the most per week.

Look at BAE, he even admitted he's only in the game for the money. Yet there are thousands of kids who'd happily turn out for Tottenham week in week out for free just to play football.
 
People call him shrek, can't have much of a brain but Manchester United<Real Madrid no brainer ;)

Yer and i don't blame him if this is the reason. The media in Spain/Italy wouldn't give a **** if he cheated on his wife but in this country we have a knack of building someone up and then knocking them down and then keep kicking them once they are down.

Yer i agree, football is tainted with money now days and it gets to the players head simple as that. But like Madsheep said apparently the deal Utd offered him would be hard to beat elsewhere so its something more than money i believe.

Considering that we paid £30M and the rumour is we're getting about £50M, they won't be getting that much.
