you can have rooney for modric, bale and van der vaart. Deal?
lolololololololol
On current form, I wouldn't trade one of them for Rooney.

Anyone just see Mourinho's comments?
"He will stay. He belongs to Manchester United, he belongs to Manchester United's fans. I wish he doesn't leave, because I like him. I like Alex Ferguson. I like Manchester United. It's his team, so I wish he doesn't leave. But if Manchester United decide they don't want him anymore - then give me a call. But for sure, he won't leave"
Paving the way for him to move to Utd much? Wants them to keep their best players, so that when SAF retires, he can come in and inherit that squad and more.
I was listening to Andy Grays thoughts and he said maybe Rooney feels that Utd are on the decline and there is better options elsewhere.
He wont go to Spurs mate. Levy will not break the wage structure.
we did match reals bid for ozil. he didnt want to play in such a physical league. Also we never owned tevezit's quite obvious though...
You sell Ronaldo & Tevez and replace them with Valencia :S Giggs, scholes etc can't handle 2/3 games a week and there is no creativity in the side apart from Berbatov & Nani.
I don't think they need a striker, as they need a playmaker, LM & GK more urgently. Ozil would have been perfect but Ferguson clearly hasn't got enough funds to build the squad back to its 2008 greatness.
he wants rooney to come out and say why he wants out. rooney has no room to manouvre and SAF doesnt get cast as the villain as is often the case. And clearly he feels betrayed by rooneys actions if the conference is anything to go byThis is unusual to say the least - very bizarre for Ferguson to hang Rooney out to dry quite so publicly. Contrast with Ronaldo situation two/three seasons ago.

I see what you mean. From the conference he looked very downbeat, and somewhat exasperated by it all. So either he was just being being totally honest and not trying to play the game at all (very rare), or he's playing a move that i just cant see. Still a lot more to come from this, and it will totally overshadow tonights game thats for sureForcing player to put in request is usually done for political and financial reasons though? (ie limit fallout for manager/owners for popular player going - eg Alonso leaving Liverpool - and so they miss out on loyalty cut from transfer fee - eg Alonso leaving us for Madrid again).
Ferguson's interviews have been odd. The one for Pravda (think that's what your in-house TV station is called...), was just weird. "Sir Alex - what's happening with Rooney?" "Jumpers for goalposts, young boys in the park playing, when I was a lad we had lard on stale bread for breakfast".
Know what I mean? He's not done this to a player quite like this before. It's usually been all done in-house, old school in many ways. How come the shift for Rooney? Why devalue the asset by publicly revealing that he won't sign? Got prime money for Beckham in similar circumstances.
