Wayne and Colleen won't adapt to life in Spain or Italy imo, he might do OK on the field but i can't see either of them getting to grips with the language.

I hope he realises that moving abroad will be the wrong move for his career and signs a new deal when this all blows over in a month or two.

Worst case scenario for Man Utd fans; he signs for Chelsea or City.

Worst case scenario for England fans; he moves to Spain or Italy, struggles, and his England career goes down the pan.

But what we need at the moment is trying to convince him to stay. He fits United perfectly, he is perfect for us and we are perfect for him. He is the star here and if he goes anywhere else that won't be the case.

Man United should replace him with Neymar or Lukaku... ;)

Don't understand the Benzema obsession, he's been a pathetic excuse for a striker since he moved to Madrid.

agreed it is (me being one of them) but the general fill on there is a sense of being betrailed, stabbed in the back. we raised him to the player he is now and this is how he repays us.

Need to sell him in January if you want anywhere near that amount. He has around a year left on his contract (nice system United, letting your key striker get to this point before negotiating) and I imagine most clubs would be willing to wait a season to get him for free.
 
Gutted. He's a great player. Hopefully SAF gets a good deal for him, rather than have another Tevez incident
 
right, I don't really think we need Rooney at Chelsea, but still, he'd probably play well for us. Most likely, he will go to City or Barca
 
If he goes to City, he will be more hated than Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher.

Wayne, if you want to leave that's your decision but don't spit in every Manchester United fans face and join Man City.

Looking from a non football perspective here ..He has been with the club for what like 6 years and that's a longgg time for a short-ish career in football, i don't blame him if he wants to branch out there and go somewhere new. :S
 
He's an Evertonian. He wouldn't sign for Liverpool.
