Looking from a non football perspective here ..He has been with the club for what like 6 years and that's a longgg time for a short-ish career in football, i don't blame him if he wants to branch out there and go somewhere new. :S

Becky, you just don't understand.

Well he's being paid to do a job and he's done it very well. I don't see why everyone should hate him for wanting to change clubs. lol

6 months ago he said he wanted to be at Utd for life though Wabz.

We're not hating him for changing clubs, we're hating the way he's going about it. He's shown poor attitude and now he wants to go to our rivals.

That's like going out with your best friends ex because you can. You just don't do that.

Is my best friend's ex going to pay me over 200,000 per week to do it?

So ..everyone is entitled to change their mind and no-one knows the exact circumstances surrounding why he wants to go. (if he actually does) :)

will the owners give ferguson the money to replace rooney what happend to the 80mil you got for ronaldo i havent seen ferguson spend that money

you need to get rid of the owners

I just hope liverpool can sign him... :D also with 55 millions i am sure Feruson can find a replacement. Btw NANI is good enough now to replace 50% of Ronaldo :P ahah

At least for a couple of hours Liverpool are not the most talked about club in football. Anyone think that if Rooney goes abroad hes going to end up like Owen without the injurys?

see you later Wayne, no one is bigger than Manchester United, even you. i tell you now though, you even dare go to those rent boys across the City then you will be the most hated guy in the world.

No, the most hated guy in half of Manchester. Nobody else gives a ****. :)

I still expect him to stay, but I'm sure City will be willing to take him off your hands.

"Nice to your own fans boo ya,that's loyal supporters" any chances that he's gonna say that again?

i carn't see rooney signing for liverpool all the abuse the fans have given him over the years
rooney to liverpool is a non starter

AC Milan/Inter/Barcelona/Real Madrid/Chelsea/Man City These will be the teams hue will be in for him

First of all i would like to say i was right when i said SkySports wouldn't post anything this drastic if their wasen't an air of truth about it. I would also like to point out although i am happy that aguably Utd best player is leaving i won't go too over board as i actually respect Utd as a club and i get on with some of the fans both on this website and also out and about. But i will say i am happy i was right about him leaving because everyone likes to be proven right and of corse Utd without Rooney will suffer massivly and i am starting to think maybe this is the real start in the shift from red to blue in Manchester?? I hope he finds his form with whatever team he joins and i think it will more than likely be Madrid and i hope from an England fans point of view the move dosen't ruin him.

even a broken clock is right twice a day...

look

everyone has bees in their bonnets over this. all fergie has said is that Rooney wants to leave. That doesn't mean he will leave, it's Fergies decision. We don't know, he might have a change of heart for all we know. It's unlikely, but it's definetly something to do with family, and maybe Spain would be the place to go, away from the thick of it. Barely anyone mentions Ronaldo anymore, it's all gone quite.

Rooney might not leave United

in a word, **** off, we'll find someone else to replace Wayne. Manchester United is a bigger name than Wayne Rooney, we're still be around challenging for the title with out without Rooney.

agreed, he might change his mind but i don't think most United fans will take to him again after coming out and sayin he wants to leave.

Calm down, you're opinion isn't his, but that doesn't mean he's wrong :S

calming down is easier said than done though when someone you idolise, support through thick and thin turning their back on you.
