The One You Miss

Well. In order:

Juan Pablo Angel: a man with an intense passion for Villa, and more importantly a consistent and lethal goalscorer.

James Milner: I'd welcome him back any day. Personification of Villa's playing style. Hustle, bustle, passion, spirit, work rate.

Fabian Delph. He's going to be a really good player, unfortunately not with us. Hopefully he comes back from his injury strongly

Me too. Felt guilty we took him off you, but hopefully we didn't rip you off. Gem of a player.

haha you should feel guilty :p I would maybe have liked a bit more for him but £6M is still a decent price. especially for a league 1 player. Hopefully there are clauses in there that get us more money ;)
 
Mikael Forssell the lad was a genius, end of.
Andy Johnson, never knew why we swapped him for Clinton Morrison plus money, but tbf Clinton was a legend as well.
David Dunn, made our team tick, even if it was for 3 games a season :$
 
Probably Alan Shearer. Wow, what a player he was. :)

He was our best player! He scored 40 goals in ONE season!!
He was one of our main creative forces and a dead ball specialist.
 
Though i'd start up a thread on the one player you miss that your club has allowed to leave, the player must still be playing and please put why you miss them.

Just thought Aaron lennon for similar reasons to delph. He has become a good player and I'm gutted we only got something like £1M for him :/
 
GodCubed - I completely agree with you mate, Angel was a decent goalscorer and was just so passionate, you could tell he really felt something towards Aston Villa, he never moaned and was also absolutely ecstatic whenever he scored a goal, a fantastic person and player.

I also miss Usiles De La Cruz, just because he was good to laugh at when going to games or watching Match of the Day. xD
 
I miss Angel Di Maria and Ramires in Benfica, boy they put the team up and running, DI maria on offense and Ramires on both offense and defense.
 
For me it's Juan Pablo Angel, he was our last solid striker, never prolific but could count on him more than you can Carew.
and Milner, he was a fantastic player and how we could do with him this season.

Would say Gareth Barry but.. Who needs Barry when you've got Barry Bannan :D
 
Patty Vieira - We are desperate for leadership on this team and he would be perfect. The only negative is Song wouldn't be as developed, but I miss Patty :(

He is closely followed by Henry, who I miss more, but we aren't as desperate for a striker as goals aren't our problem.
