The Premier League Thread

@Scouseinthehouse

See, but that's my point. All of our liberties are already being stretched thinner and thinner for 2 years now, so unless you want these panties to snap and Queen's 90-year old buttcheecks to be exposed, you gotta stop stretching at some point.

Mate its either you force people to take the vaccine or everyone will be back under lockdown before long. Choose which way you want your civil liberties violated I suppose…

All the signs point to another lockdown whether you force the jabs or not. Pitting the people against each other benefits only the government because everyone will forget who ****** it all up in the first place.

Players continuing to stand up, or in this case, kneel down, against intolerance this season.

Facist, racist heads falling off all over the Country from the highest levels of Government on down.

Just seen that. Wonder how much booing it will get….

It will be interesting to see just how the Country's come, or hasn’t, won’t it?

It will be VERY interesting, and telling, to see how different grounds react now supporters are back in full force,

Speaking from a Liverpudlian perspective. the VAST majority of match-going Reds (as was in evidence both back last Chrimbo and then again the last game of the season and the deafening applause in support and solidarity of the players stance), are 100% onboard with all in football standing up to, or in this case kneeling down, to all forms of inequality,

Doing the right thing. Its just what decent people do. Or should …..

Sadly, as the seriously disturbed view of Patriotism showed this summer with so called England ‘fans’ booing their own players before a ball was even kicked, aside from all the despicable abuse that followed, there’s still a LONG way to go and not all fanbases/ City’s are as liberal thinking and accepting as ourselves. As sadly mad, and no leas to the Country’s detriment, as that is to say in England of 2021.

It will be very interesting indeed to see how different grounds/ fanbases react to this now supporters are back.

Fofana broke his leg in the Leicester game, horrible tackle by all accounts. Shame the kid is great.

Between him and James Justin, that's massive losses for Leicester.

God speed to them both.
