I don't see much issue with the current system really but I have always liked the old American way of the player having a run with it haha

Yeah that version of shoot-out was the ****. Current format is bullshit, there are no saved pens, there are only poorly shot pens.
 
Don't think Manquillo was much like Johnson iirc, seem to remember him being decent in defence but offering nothing going forwards

He was a lazy ****** like Johnson with none of the ability Glen had. Constantly caught out because he would be walking back into position after lazily making a run forward.
