The mad thing is Rafa would be brilliant for them to consistently establish themselves as a Europa League club and progress.
But most Evertonians rabid hatred of all things L’pool outweighs their love for Everton so he’d never be accepted whatever he achieved. They’d rather have, in their delusional eyes, a ‘true blue’ like David F Unsworth as he understands Everton because he banned the 23’s from wearing red boots!
Which explains a lot about why Everton continue to be what they are. The very definition of mid-table mediocrity. No threat to the European places. No threat to go down. No threat to ever win a trophy.
Nobody quite knows the actual point of Everton FC but they are what they are.
Just medium. The Everton way.
