February Update
It is a very busy month for us after a two month break we have seven games so we are going to have to do well to ensure that we stay at the top end of the table.
Fidelis Andria 2-0 Castel di Sangro
View attachment 162229A poor restart for us as we failed to cope with the three upfront the Fidelis put out. Germinale gave them an early lead a neat one two and then he fired powerfully past Kastrati to put us behind. Zamparo put us two goals behind after 21 minutes a Martinelli cross hit off of Camoletto and fell to Zamparo and he fired past Kastrati. A poor game for us to restart our league campaign.
Castel di Sangro 2-0 Trapani
View attachment 162227We take advantage of an early red card to get a two goal win over Trapani who are again near us in the league. They got a cb sent off for a two footed challenge to give us a man advantage for over 75 minutes. Camoletto got us ahead after 55 minutes Jimnez flicked on a corner and Camoletto fired a volley in from about 2 yards out. Bresciani got us a second goal after 71 minutes Folorunsho took a short free kick to Bresciani and from 35 yards out it then took a massive deflection to wrong foot the keeper and give us a two goal win.
Reggio Calabria 0-0 Castel di Sangro

We had more than enough chances to win the game including De Chirico who made his comeback from the U-20 and really should have scored along with a couple of other players. Its the type game that we need to win more often if we want to stay near the top of the league.
Melfi 1-3 Castel di Sangro

We start the second round of games by recording a double over Melfi and scoring three goals for the first time this season. Schiavi got us ahead after 38 minutes Bresciani passed the ball to the onrushing Schiavi and from just inside the box he hit a powerful effort past the keeper to put us ahead. Ruggeri got us a second goal soon after a great counter attack Cucci played him in and Ruggeri from six yards out fired a high powerful effort over the head of the keeper. Di Carlo pulled a goal back after 81 minutes Aracri passed to Di Carlo and from six yards out he was never going to miss. We got an incredible final goal Chiaramonti had the ball 35 yards out with not a lot on he smashed a shot into the top corner that left the keeper grasping at thin air.

View attachment 162213We got a decent draw as we were down with not long left but, Chiaramonti made it two in two to earn us a point. Spagnoli got Aversa ahead a nice passing move ended with Spagnoli turning in a cross from a tight angle. We got a lateish leveller Horak hit in a cross to the back post and Chiaramonti poked it in from close range. A point is a point but, I would have preferred three points especially as we were at home.

We get a win in a tight game after a couple of draws in tight game. Chiaramonti got a third goal is as many games to get us all three points Bresciani passed to him and from just outside the box he swept a low shot into the bottom corner to get us the lead and ultimately the win and three points.

A good win for us and our biggest winning margin of the year. Bresciani got us ahead after 31 minutes a rapid counter attack got us the ball wide to Horak and his cross hit of a defender and fell to Bresciani and from 10 yards out Bresciani fired a powerful effort in past the keeper. El Khayari doubled our lead ten minutes later Horak whipped in a powerful cross and El Khayari got in ahead of his man and headed in from 2 yards out. Ruggeri got us a three goal winning margin with the final goal a corner was only half cleared and Chiaramonti passed to Ruggeri and from just inside the box Ruggeri slammed a shot into the top corner. A good win for us.

View attachment 162198We are second somehow and a bit closer to Cosenza as they had a poor second half of the month. We have a decent shot of making the playoff but, have to be focused as their is still a long way to go
