Thats a tricky one since you said I cant pick a regen!!! lol.

APRIL

I suppose this should be seen as a good month as we put 6 past Juventus and won the league title but I was disappointed really as we also got thumped by Juventus and drew twice in the league!!!!!

Anywho we ended the month 20pts clear at the top and I am going to play my youngsters for the rest of the season - lets hope they keep up our unbeaten record...............

We got a new feeder club by the way - Lyngby from Denmark.

--------------------------------------------------

Athletic Bilbao 4-1 Recreativo
Inigo Martinez 2, Griezmann 2

A nice comfortable win - Inigo Martinez has scored quite a few this year and has been amazing!

--------------------------------------------------------

Osasuna 1-1 Athletic Bilbao
Ortega

A last minute goal from Ortega saves our unbeaten record in the league.

----------------------------------------------------------

UEFA Champions League QF 1st Leg

Athletic Bilbao 6-2 Juventus
Muniain 2, Inigo Martinez, Martinez, Lloris (og), Griezmann

Once again we scored 5 before half-time as we battered Juventus. Methinks I can play the youngsters in the 2nd leg now.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Athletic Bilbao 2-0 Las Palmas
Prieto, Griezmann

I played the backup players here and Artola got sent-off late on.

-------------------------------------------------------------

UEFA Champions League QF 2nd Leg

Juventus (2) 4-1 Athletic Bilbao (6)
Astori (og)
(Agg: 6-7)

Well that almost backfired spectacularly!!!! I would have been raging if we got knocked out but thankfully we held on in the end!

------------------------------------------------------------------

Real Betis 1-1 Athletic Bilbao
Herrera

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Athletic Bilbao 2-1 Atletico Madrid
Ortega, Artola (pen)

Champions!!!!!!! We were losing for most of the match but when I brought on Bonilla and Bueno on 75min we scored twice in the next 3min with the subs getting an assist each!

----------------------------------------------------------------

Espanyol 2-3 Athletic Bilbao
Herrera, Muniain, Bueno

A topsy turvy game but we came out on top in the end as Bueno scored a last minute winner.

MAY

A perfect season trophy wise and we even ended the league season unbeaten! Overall this month was fantastic as we remained unbeaten in the league, won the cup and the Champions League.

----------------------------------------------

UEFA Champions League SF 1st Leg
Chelsea 2-4 Athletic Bilbao
Bernal 2, Muniain, Artola

EXCELLENT!!!!!! We took an early lead but Chelsea went into half-time 2-1 up however we turned it round in the 2nd half to complete a great victory. This was Bernal's first game back.

--------------------------------------------------

Athletic Bilbao 3-0 Mallorca
Gerpe, Bonilla, Reverte

I played the youngsters here and they cruised to victory.

-------------------------------------------------

UEFA Champions League SF 2nd Leg
Athletic Bilbao (4) 3-3 Chelsea (2)
Ortega, Bueno 2
(Agg: 7-5)

We were 3 down with 15min to go and not only heading out but in danger of a home defeat but remarkably we staged an amazing comeback. Bueno scored 2 in the last 3min.

--------------------------------------------------

Almeria 0-3 Athletic Bilbao
Bonilla, Bueno, Griezmann

Bonilla and Hoz were taken off injured in the first half with Hoz's injury ruling him out for the rest of the season. Almeria are now relegated.

------------------------------------------------------

Copa del Rey Final

Athletic Bilbao 5-2 Real Madrid
Bernal, Ortega, Vazquez (pen), Muniain 2

A thriling final!!! In the first half we took the lead before going 2-1 down but led 3-2 at the break. Vazquez then missed a penalty before we really took control. Thats 3 times in a row now for winning this competition.

-------------------------------------------------------

Athletic Bilbao 4-0 Villarreal
Martinez, Prieto, Gerpe, Risgaard (og)

A nice win. Gerpe also had a goal disallowed.

-------------------------------------------------------

Valencia 2-4 Athletic Bilbao
Canales (og), Reverte, Griezmann, Bueno

UNBEATEN LEAGUE SEASON!!!! Now for the 100% record league season lol

--------------------------------------------------------

UEFA Champions League Final

Athletic Bilbao 2-0 Manchester City
Javi Martinez, Bernal

4 in a row and 5 out of 6!!!! Thats all lol.

Yep - it is beckoning - going to do 10 years here and keep it going sporadically - there is no Aitor so the 25 year career is going to be a struggle. Will still keep it going though................

Have to do a Newcastle save too but will wait until Messi signs in January so I can get it in the latest update lol

yeah probs time to try the pentagon challenge .although we all love this story s mew one will be good

Unbeaten league season and victory in every cup. You are one of the best FM players on this forum, without a doubt.

After the demise of my attempt at the pentagon challenge I have decided to go back to this story until the next update probably. Would start a new game but what if Newcastle sign Messi or Ronaldo in the upcoming window? lol

yeah hope u have a story soon

The save has been saved 680 times, bit excessive?

Not really especially at the start when FM 13 first came out i was saving every week so i didnt lose so many games if it crashed, half the stories on here are stopped because of a crash so it seems quite logical really.
