The San Marino Revolution - A BaP Story

Elche huh... If it worked well for Pasalic it might be good for Zonta (besides Elche is doing great so far in BBVA).

Not the best year when it comes to national team action, I hope that next year turns out better for San Marino.
(By the way it's just me or the current manager prefers an amateur GK like Simoncini over Pedersen as Lewis' replacement? I know the kid hasn't gotten that much action in like...forever... But he sure is better than an amateur playing at Libertas).

.P.S.:
Our National team manager should get the sack! He is nowhere near utilizing our potential!

While I agree, the problem is: that with San Marino's current reputation and world ranking only this kind of managers will get interested in such a job.

End of Season Update - 2017/2018

Player Stats:

View attachment 261835View attachment 261834

The main successes this season would have to be Hawkwind bagging over 20 goals in Belgium for Anderlecht, Naterr averaging 7.8 in his half season in Portugal and Matthew Hawkins managing 15 assists for Gladbach in the German top flight. Del Conte, Juggernaut and Zonta all averaged above a 7 rating in top flight football whilst Romeo also had a decent season in the French top flight.

On the other end of the scale, poor Pedersen didn't make a 1st team appearance for Man City and Brian Shaw also didn't make an appearance at Leverkusen. CB's Conron and Weight were also reduced to just youth/reserve team football at Juve and PSG respectively.

League Tables:

Juggernaut's Sporting side avoided relegation from the BBVA on the last day of the season, whilst Del Conte's Sassuolo and Dickson and Selva's Roma managed to qualify for Europe. In France, Romeo's Bordeaux managed to qualify for the Champions League playoff rounds, whereas PSG qualified for the groups stages but could not retain their title.

Other News:

1)
San Marino managed to win their division and the Serie C Super cup, maybe finally reaping the rewards of the crop of players who they sold a couple of years ago.

2)
The group for the new European Nations League has been drawn and I expect us to get promoted from our group of Gibraltar, Liechtenstein and Azerbaijan!

Next update will be the player update for the start of the 5th season...

Easy group there, the only team that could pose a threat is Azerbaijan and even then I think that the the kids should be ready enough to beat them with relative ease.

Great moves those two, hopefully it will only be the beginning of the Sanmarinese spread.

I don't even know where these aggression issues come from...

I must have like 20 dirtiness and 1 temperament and sportsmanship xD

how did conron play for juve's youth teams?

Also, who are juve's other CB's? would love to know who im competing against for game time :)

I've progressed past last season so I've lost his stats from the youth games as they are non-competitive but here are the first team CB's and a solid youth CB they have. He needs a loan move to be honest or even just a transfer away from Juve, don't see him getting much football there...

Despite all the loans out from Benfica, Ferrari just isn't getting any better. He's still one of the few with a value in the thousands. I'm just hoping he has a breakout season or he might just fade away.

What a great update from the Sammarinese Hawks (H)

Hopefully Hawkins will be given enough game time though. In my saves Man City had this tendency to crippling talents away left and right, while subsequently making them unsalvageable by the other teams due to their astronomical wage demand :\

BTW who are the other forwards that Hawkwind competing against in the Blackburn's first team? This could be the make or break period for him.

Odion Ighalo (from Watford) and Nathan Delfouneso, I think Hawkwind will be clear first choice.

Juggernaut getting over 7 average rating is pretty good with his runs with ball often, gets forward whenever possible traits...with 1 in off the ball movement haha

Bah, seems like Mylo Xyloto always get atlest one heavy injury each season, so not to many games for him at Bremen it seems.
But very good work with the updates its always fun to follow what happens with the players and the national team.

James Scott value is increasing nearly at the £1m mark haha! Loan listed at Granada so hopefully can get somewhere with a decent standard of first team football so I can kick on with developing!

Naterr starting to make some first team appearances! Hopefully he can come back to Porto and get some game time there! not another loan next year!!

Great season at Gladbach! 35 games, 3 goals, 15 assists, 4 MOTM and a 7.49 average rating! Oh and the small matter of a move to Man City...

£27.5m and could rise to £36m and yet it's a "coup" and should "command a higher fee", is the supporter spokesperson high or something?

Awesome job man, nice and steady pace! We're all developing decently! Although Hawkins and Romero look a different class already!
