Varane will be amazing but personally prefer to not spend that much on CB.

Is Balanta available? Definitely world class and possibly much cheaper.

Other players to scout are Jesus Vallejo, Marquinho and John Stones.

Ended up spending £60ish... Scored on 2nd appearance so that's something but not sure he can ever be worth that much. All the others you mention would cost more where I'm at so had to be done really.

try samper but maybe to much as release clause is 9 mil turns into a great dm
 
Only bought the game yesterday (was waiting for patch feedback because of all the negative press).
I started a career with Southend United because I like a challenge and they had a few Irish players in the squad.

I am having trouble convincing players to join me... Even loan players are much more of a struggle than all of the other FM's I've played.
So far, I managed to get 3 players in on free transfers.

Ivan Klasnic - ST - 3 Apps - 1 goal - Avg 6.07
Dani Cifuentes - RB - 6 apps - 1 Assist - Avg 7.10
Rachid Bouaouzan - AM/RL - 5 Apps - Avg 7.07

I play a 4-2-3-1 wide attacking formation with a DLP and BWM.

I've started well but I bet I'm only a few injuries away from plummeting down the table.

Window is shut now until January.
Any ideas of where I should look for decent players?

I've bought him on my first season with Man Utd and he was one of the best players of the team, together with Januzaj and RVP. Played him on the left mid and Januzaj at right.

Also, who to buy to replace RVP? At the second season he spent almost half of it injured. I have Icardi replacing him, but i think i need a better option.
