5% of Romelu Lukaku’s transfer fee will go to his former clubs (between age 12-23) as a solidarity payment: that’s a €2m reduction on the total fee for Chelsea as they are part of the compensation scheme. Anderlecht will get around 2,25%.

Plus Inter still owed Chelsea a smaller solidarity fee for his move between Man United and Inter (basic fee for that deal was €74.162.000,according to the Inter accounts).

Hopefully City screw themselves over with Messi as badly as Juve screwed themselves with Ronaldo. Can't say I have much sympathy left for Messi anymore. New contract with huge sign-on bonues every 12-18 months with wages that would be enough to sustain entire clubs, and the moment Barca can't pay that anymore, he wants out.
