Tottenham Hotspur took a huge step towards the 2nd round of the Knock out stages with a 4-2 win at Sevilla. It was the in form Edinson Cavani who broke the deadlock after 15 minutes, The striker cooly slotting home from a William Gallas long ball. Niko Kranjcar then added a second goal after the break to give Spurs some comfort. The comfort however didnt last long as Alvaro Negredo scored twice in 4 minutes to get the host's Level and lift the home support, But again it was Cavani who quietened them, heading his second 65 seconds after Sevilla got level. The night then got worse for the Spanish side when Gary Medel shinned the ball into his own net to give the Spanish side alot to do in the return leg a week tonight.​

Tottenham Hotspur cruised into the Quater Final's of the F.A Cup with a hammering of Reading at White Hart Lane. It was reading who took a suprise lead, Former Blackburn striker Jason Roberts squeezed the ball between Ryan Nelson and Brad friedal to score, the lead only lasted 58 seconds however, Edinson Cavani drifting past 3 players and stroke the ball home, Reading held firm until the hour mark when 3 goals in 5 minutes from Adebayor (2) and Kranjcar killed reading off, and substitute Rafael Van Der Vaart added a spectacular fifth to seel the victory.​
 
Spurs into Last 16

Tottenham 5-1 Sevilla

Tottenham progressed into the Last 16 of the Europa League after a 5-1 beating of Sevilla at White Hart Lane. It was Edinson Cavani that got the opener after 21 minutes, The striker linking up with Luka Modric before smashing the ball home. Sevilla came looking to go all out and sniffed a way back into it on the half hour mark, Jesus Navas taking advantage of a mix up in the Spurs defence to equalise and give sevilla a chance. That chance was taken away though just before the break after Giovanni Dos Santos put Tottenham back in front at the second attempt. The game was rapped up after an Hour when Cavani helped himself to his second of the evening , tapping in Niko Kranjcar's cross. on 65 Minutes Rafael Van Der Vaart was released onto the field and he helped himself to 2 late goal's to give Tottenham a crushing win on the night to set them up a all english tie against Fulham.​
 
Spurs hammer 10 man wonderers.

Tottenham 9-0 Bolton

Tottenham have left there message loud and clear after thrashing Bolton 9-0, William Gallas opened the scoring, heading in a Luka Modric Corner, then Cavani took over hitting 4 wonderful goals and Van Der Vaart added a sixth before the break. Cavani returned to complete his double Hat trick before Substitute Emmanuel Adebayor added a ninth just before the end.​

A delighful double from Edinson Cavani gave Spurs the points at the Stadium Of Light. The Uruguayian striker finished off 2 Luka Modric corners, the first a siple header from 6 yards and the second a tap in from two. The result restores Tottenham's 12 poit lead at the top of the Premier League.​
 
Fulham take Europa advantage.

Fulham upset the odds by pulling of a 2-2 draw at White Hart Lane and give themselves a great chance of Proggression to the quater Finals. I t was the home side that started the brighter and were ahead afer 15 minutes, Edinson Cavani getting the important 1st goal, But resiliant Fulham replied well just before the break, Emmanuel Villa getting the 1st away goal. Spurs looked to have rescued the game when Gareth Bale put them in front on 76 minutes only for Kasami to score on 84 to give Fulham a huge chance to Progress.​

Tottenham Hotspur had a horror show at Molineux. Only Jermain Defoe's late goal gave anything to shout about, but judging from manager Nick Treadwell's reaction he was unhappy and made his feeling's known to the players at half time and after the match.​

Totenham got themselves back on track with a 3-0 win over Fulham to progress to the Europa League Quater Final's. After a ragid first half it was Spurs who led after Danny Murphy bundled the ball into his own net, As Fulham searched for a leeller, Spurs struck. Cavani countering twice to give his side comfort and a tie against French Club Sochaux.​
 
Spurs into Wembley semi.

Tottenham Hotspur will make the short trip to Wembley after defeating Nottingham Forest 3-0 at White Hart Lane. In a frantic half an hour the tie was brought to life, Edinson Cavani settling early nerves by hitting the opener on 7 minutes. Before Aaron Lennon gave spurs some breathing room. Cavani came back to give Spurs a 3-0 lead, Then Scott Parker recieved a straight red on 31 minutes for a bad tackle on Guy Moussi.Tottenham will lay Wolves in the semi final's.​

Title Race on!

The Title race is well and truely on after Manchester United beat Tottenham at White Hart Lane. It was the indivisual brilliance of Wayne Rooney who scored twice to cut the gap down to just 3 points, with 9 games rewmaining. With Emmanuel Adebayor's late penalty miss, the Title race is wide open.

Tottenham are now level on points with Manchester United after a disapointing performance led them to slip up at The Baggies, Gareth Bale opened the scoring after 3 minutes with a tap in at the far post, Albion were level soon after when Odemwingie escaped the offside trap to equalise. Jermain Defoe restored Tottenham's advantage 5 minutes later before Paul Scharner levelled just beforte the break. Odemwingie then struck the hammer blow by scoring after the hour.​

Edinson Cavani was the medicane as Tottenham forgot about there league blues to all but cement there place in the Semi final's of the Europa League. Cavani, scored wice in each half and earnt a standing ovation when he was replaced on the hour by the scorer of the fifth and sixth goal Emmanuel Adebayor, Cavani has been in Superb form this season and now has 65 goals in 41 apperances.​

Tottenham held off a brave challenge from Fulham to return to the top of the Premier League. After frustrating Spurs for 41 minutes, Emmanuel Adebayor was bundled over by Chris Baird in the box, the striker got himself upand cooly slotted the ball into the net, Tottenham rapped up the points on 83 minutes when Edinson Cavani finished off a slick passing move to give Spurs comfort and to help them return to the top of the league on goal difference.​

Tottenham will play Palermo in the semi final's of the Europa league after beating Sochaux 8-1 on Aggregate. a early Ryan Nelson goal follwed by a Van Der Vaart screamer made the night comfotable for the Host's who had chance to rest several key Players.​

Tottenham fell 5 points behind leaders manchester United with a 1 all draw At White Hart Lane. Spurs however do have a game in hand, Emmanuel Adebayor was again in the headlines, after equalising after a hour he missed a spot kick with 10 minutes remaining to break Spurs hearts and to leave Man Utd clear favourites.​

Tottenham Hotspur have the advantage after the 1st leg of the Europa League Semi Final's, Goals from Van Der Vaart and second half Goals from Jermain Defoe and Edinson Cavani cancelled out Miccoli's leveller for the Italians.​
