Ibrahimovic played amazingly until he became a lazy *******. Had he not thought his position in the starting 11 was as good as secured I think he would have kept scoring like he did in the beginning.

...he saw the headlines?

Good that you got my humor there;]

I didnt quite understand why the **** did they buy him in the first place? I mean, obviosly Guardiola doesnt like him, at least not that much. Waste of money, but hey who are we to blame "the best club in every possible way(;[)"?! :)))

I think you're confusing Barca with Manchester United ;)

Former Villa prospect Harry Forrester could sign for Ajax, while City's John Guidetti could be moving on a free to Twente.

What do you guys think about the possible transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo to that small time club Man Citeh? I don't see it what so ever but some people think Ronny wouldn't turn down the money etc.

city have already denied it, cant see Ronaldo making the move either

City also denied offering Carlos Tevez a contract few years back so that mean nout. I personally don't see it, Ronaldo says he loves United too much ad wouldn't go to City because of that reason but we all know how much footballers words mean these days.

GuillemBalague Guillem Balague
Ronaldo and Madrid think the offer is real. City deny it. AS reports the story. Many ppl in twitter seem to think they know more. hahahaha

I really hope guidetti is coming to FC Twente. He's got a good chance of becoming a 1st team regular right away. FC Twente's playing style also suits guidetti pretty well.

In other news: El Hamdaoui could be on his way to either PSV or Sevilla from Ajax and Lokomotiv Moscow is keeping an eye on Demba Ba, but there is stiff competition from both Newcastle and Stoke.

As a Plan B. They had/have no height at all in their teams so opposition parked the bus and focused on stopping Messi & Eto'o. Pace will only get you so far and it makes Barca fairly one-dimensional. They still need a Plan B but of course Guardiola, as the brilliant tactician that he is, hasn't seen that and wants to buy a player who is essentially a worse David Villa in Rossi (debatable whether he's worse or not but that's not the point!). At the moment, they're almost entirely reliant on Messi doing something incredible all of a sudden and the standard of La Liga being pretty crappy.

Saying that Barca are "almost entirely reliant on Messi" is bullshit beyond belief.

Haha. OK - it's an exaggeration obviously but what I meant is that their Plan B when struggling has largely gone from moving it out wide and trying to get Ibra involved to hoping Messi goes on one of his runs which more often than not he will and they'll win/get a point. You know what I mean and I'm not even being biased.

Plan B myth is overrated. There is no need for another plan when your plan A is so ****** good. (And also their plan B is hounding ref ;) )

When they are trailing pique plays as CF and wins lot of headers in the final third. So that counts as plan B if they really want one.

OMFG BIAS

You're mostly right, though. Thing is, they hardly ever need a Plan B as their Plan A is so ******* good.

Absolutely agree with u on this one, I actually thought Barcelona would be very tough to beat once they bought Ibra who was essentially their plan B and gave them adequate pace upfront and a really superior heading ability, however for some strange reason he was packed off back to Italy after having what was in my opinion a fairly good season which you would generally expect from a player making his debut season in a foreign country and Barca go out and buy Villa who lets face it, although he is very talented no doubt, he hardly gave them anything different other than pace and finishing which they already had in leaps and bounds in Pedro, Messi and a young kid called Bojan

The fact is that Barcelona's attack is built around Messi and is very one-dimensional. Jose Mourinho realised this while he was at Inter Milan and negated the Messi effect by setting 2 DMs on the fella which led to that spectacular 3-0 win, thats why I rate Mourinho as a brilliant tactician. Barcelona's tactical system has many faults according to me however these holes are covered by the sheer ability of their players and Barcelona have struggled in attack whenever Messi is not present, if Guardolia is really the brilliant tactician as the press like to sing, he would go and buy someone like Llorente who can come off the bench and give Barca that extra, crucial dimension in attack when pace is not working
