Personally think those 'ITKs' who reckon he'll come to us should lay off the crack pipe a while. His transfer has been cooking a while and it would be a great surprise if the usual suspects in the Premier League weren't the ones who were putting the big money offers. But good 'ole Arry will put a bid in which'll just, just, be under the price he goes for. And Everton will claim they'd lined him up and agreed everything bar one minor but niggling and critical personal term and so were obliged to withdraw their offer. So everyone's a winner really.

Something has been afoot since Jan when he asked for his minimum release fee to be lowered while getting a higher contract, still didnt expect him to leave until next season, but a lot has gone on with Atletico.

The more 'Arry talks, the more i despise him. just sums up too much of what i dont like about the english game. All bluster, false words and excuses, one way to play, and never one to take responsibility

Inter can. Their president has said already that if a big player is available, they will look into the signing of him.

We can as well. The owners have told Kenny there is no transfer budget and we'll assess each and every transfer individually. If a player comes up who could prove value for money we will look into him, as we are doing with Aguero.

Inter are not in financially strong position. They made loses for so many seasons and partly due to not owning a stadium.

If they had so much money Sanchez, Tevez deal would have been done and dusted by this time. At least Sanchez..

Realistically, there are very few clubs in Europe right now who have over the better part of £100m to spend on one player over the next five seasons (or who can take on that much more debt or have an owner able to spend the cash to finance it). Five of those clubs are in England, two in Spain, one in Germany and maybe two or three in Italy.

Personally, I reckon he'll be off to Chelsea and we'll find out that the deal was pretty much done last summer.

Inter definitely do have money to spend and I expect them to spend it.

Who?

Juan Albín snubs newcastle to join Espanyol from Getafe.

Gomes interested in going back to PSV.

Kayal set to stay at Celtic.

Who?

Arsenal, Liverpool, United, Chelsea, City, Barca, Madrid, Inter, AC.

Sid Lowe (Covers Spanish football for the guardian) reckons that Aguero's preferred destination is Real Madrid, still possible that he could move to Chelsea, Man Utd aren't interested and there is no chance for Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham.

Preferred destination? Real Madrid? What a load of bull.

Maybe that's where he'll go, but I would bet he'd rather go to his favourite club than his biggest rival club.

Thats bollocks, we didn't make an offer for him. We were watching him this season, but there was no formal approach.

Covering Spanish football....It is all over the sports here today, and Atletico have said they won't ever entertain any offers from Real Madrid for any player. Relations between the two are frosty at best. Most likely Inter, Chelsea, Man City or Liverpool, as there isn't many that have that cash to pay. Possibly Barca, but they are still after Rossi, and you would think it would be one or the other, not both.

Goalkeeper Friedel snubs Villa stay to play second fiddle to Reina at Liverpool

Read more: Brad Friedel will re-join Liverpool | Mail Online

Brad Friedel will re-join Liverpool after rejecting offers from West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa to remain in the Midlands.
The veteran keeper has agreed a two-year deal with Kenny Dalglish to be Pepe Reina's understudy.

Waving goodbye: Friedel will re-join Liverpool after turning down a deal to stay at Villa
Villa offered Friedel, 40, a deal on less money but with a greater bonus for appearances.

Oh Brad. Thought he'd stay, but meh. Excellent keeper, and a Prem legend. If he wants to break his appearances run and go and not play for Liverpool, that's fine by me.

More excitement for us in the transfer window then! TWO keepers!

Good for Gulacsi perhaps, or bad. Good; learning with two legends of the game, and regular reserve football.

Odd decision but understandable if it's for the money since he's bankrupt through no major fault of his own (I think?) Great GK.

yeah he was trying to do something for charity and it went belly up

Charlton Athletic are ready to make a bid for Plymouth Winger Yala Bolasie. With Plymouth's current financial situation its difficult to see whether they could turn down any realistic bids from the League One Club.

CHARLTON Athletic are poised to make a move for Plymouth Argyle winger Yannick Bolasie.

For me personally its expected. Players like Bolasie, Mason and Nelson will go as clubs will take advantage of us not having new owners until June 14th at the earliest. Bolasie had a great few months to end the season with and is our best threat when he runs with the ball..

Yeah, he set up academies in the US to teach poor kids football, all for free. Recession hit him hard, lost everything, harsh for him.

The transfer merry-go-round is soon to be in full swing at Upton Park, where West Ham's handful of England stars are, as promised, preparing to depart. Robert Green is close to securing a move to Aston Villa, Scott Parker will choose between Arsenal and Liverpool - with the Hammers unwilling to sell to Tottenham because they're in a bit of a strop over the whole Olympic Stadium farrago - and Carlton Cole has a testy stripe-versus-hoop conundrum to deal with as West Bromwich Albion, Stoke City and Queens Park Rangers chase his signature. Demba Ba and Thomas Hitzlsperger have been offered improved deals as the club bids to secure promotion back to the Premier League as quickly as possible. QPR, while we're mentioning them, also fancy a Montpellier-based brace, in the shape of centre-back Emir Spahic and striker Olivier Giroud.

Sorry for the Off-Topic, but I went to school with his brother - Ruddock Yala. (At the start of the game plays for Boreham Wood).
