Deal for Charlie Adam all but done.
Unless something drastically happens in the next few days then Adam will join LFC for around 7m.

I just love these rumours

Arsenal are one of the clubs leading the chase to sign Gervinho, according to reports.
The Gunners have been joined by Liverpool at the head of the queue for the coveted Ivorian striker, with claims in France that one of the Barclays Premier League two is the most likely destination of the player.
Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp has been heavily linked with a move for the Lille forward in the last fortnight, but now appear to have turned their attentions elsewhere after Harry Redknapp was spotted scouting Kevin Gameiro of Lorient.

He too is a former Arsenal target, although Arsene Wenger has been linked with Gervinho for well over a year now, and will be looking to use his contacts in France to persuade the player over a move to the Emirates.
The 23-year-old former Le Mans hitman admitted that he's happy with the now Ligue 1 champions earlier in the month, although refused to close the door on a potential move away from the Stade Lille-Metropole.

"I have a contract with Lille until 2012 and I am happy here. Playing in the Champions League is a big attraction for me," said last season's 15-goal forward.
"But I also have other offers and I have spoken with the club. I will decide my future after the final game."

and also LOL XD

Evatt is a veteran defender who some believe enjoys Blackpool too much to leave despite the Seasiders relegation, but as the old saying goes: “money talks.”
A stay-at-home defender, Evatt has continued to show improvement during his time at Blackpool, and would help solidify Arsenal's defensive unit. It is yet to be seen if Evatt would be able to hold his own on a bigger stage, but strong performances against some of the league's top clubs should mean Wenger could get solid, mistake-free minutes from him.
He was named player of the year by the team's supporters and will likely be the captain if he returns to Bloomfield Road next season, so they price tag is uncertain. If Arsenal misses out on some of its top targets, however, Evatt would be a solid backup plan.

Even without costing two goals against Man Utd I still don't think Evatt has done so well. Just look at the statistics, Blackpool's defense has been horrid.

The transfer merry-go-round is soon to be in full swing at Upton Park, where West Ham's handful of England stars are, as promised, preparing to depart. Robert Green is close to securing a move to Aston Villa, Scott Parker will choose between Arsenal and Liverpool - with the Hammers unwilling to sell to Tottenham because they're in a bit of a strop over the whole Olympic Stadium farrago - and Carlton Cole has a testy stripe-versus-hoop conundrum to deal with as West Bromwich Albion, Stoke City and Queens Park Rangers chase his signature. Demba Ba and Thomas Hitzlsperger have been offered improved deals as the club bids to secure promotion back to the Premier League as quickly as possible. QPR, while we're mentioning them, also fancy a Montpellier-based brace, in the shape of centre-back Emir Spahic and striker Olivier Giroud.

Who the **** are they?! No way Carlton Cole. At least the other two sound exotic...

EDIT: Looked them up, not too shabby

Milan have signed the full ownerships of Kevin-Prince Boateng Marco Amelia, Rodney Strasser, Nnamdi Oduamadi, Gianmarco Zigoni and Alberto Paloschi while Giacomo Beretta is now on a co-ownership deal.

Sokratis Papastathopoulos, meanwhile, returns to Genoa after an unconvincing year at Milan. Beretta is also sent to Genoa after playing a great season with the Primavera team of Milan.

There is still no official confirmation on behalf of Milan as the market is not open yet.

Sid Lowe (Covers Spanish football for the guardian) reckons that Aguero's preferred destination is Real Madrid, still possible that he could move to Chelsea, Man Utd aren't interested and there is no chance for Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham.

Nice to see Sid confirming that. Really do think it'll be Chelsea. (Sure his mother moved to London fairly recently?). Honestly no idea if Liverpool have scouted him, tried to discuss terms or whatever, but his wages would break what excuse of a wage structure we have at the club. Even more so is that true for Spurs and Arsenal.

Possible swap deal for torres :P

I agree about the wages though, Wenger wouldn't sleep for months thinking about how much he would be paying Aguero.
