Oh surely you remember? You know, the club that beat you 2-1 at the Emirates couple of weeks ago? ;)

Hmm? Nope. I have selective memory syndrome. It's why I'm so positive about everything Arsenal.

Another average player wants to leave us :D

Nicklas Bendtner is tired of being a bit-part player at Arsenal and wants to quit the Emirates.
The Danish striker’s father and agent, Thomas, says his son is “100 per cent open” to moving this summer.
Bendtner, 23, who sat out yesterday’s game at Fulham with a hamstring injury, is keen on a move to Bayern Munich.
But his father has dismissed talk of a potential switch to Aston Villa.
He said: “Nicklas is 100 per cent open now to a change of clubs.
“He has made his decision and he has told it to Arsenal.

“Nicklas needs to be playing regularly from the start, so, sadly, he must leave.
“He wanted to finish the season first, so no-one could say he didn’t fight for a first-team place right until the end.
“There is real interest from both English and German clubs, and Bayern Munich were after him, earlier. It’s very exciting.
“But talk about Aston Villa is rubbish. He has not met anyone from there.”

Sergio 'Kun' Aguero is on the verge of joining Real Madrid, dispelling the widespread rumours he would sign for #LFC this summer.

I still can't see this happening. And if it does, then Real are just being greedy, where are all these players going to fit in? I heard they were trying to sign Adebayor on a permanent deal (they should do, he's played well and is happy there), then there's Higuain & Ronaldo. Benzema will leave, but with all the midfielders they have, surely Higuain will be going too? That's if these Aguero rumours are true.

Adebayor isn't going to Madrid permanently. He's going back to City who are then going to sell him on to Juventus if rumours are correct.

Hopefully someone buys Bendtner for 10-15 million.

Then Wenger might go for Benzema |)

bendtner is worth 5 million i think

This is why you'll never be a football manager/accountant.

He'll go for between £8-10M if he goes at all. Apparently Bayern want him to replace the outgoing Miroslav Klose.

He'd be a bit-part player at Bayern too so if he wants to be a star and the center of attention, then he'd better start looking at clubs of Everton's ilk. He will leave for more than £5M, but I'm with Calum, that's about how much he's worth.

Le expresé al Atleti mi decisión de salir. Le pedí que reciban, sin condicionamientos, las ofertas que lleguen de otros clubes.
I expressed to my decision to leave Atletico. I asked him to receive, without conditions, the offers that come from other clubs.

You're dealing with a lot of inflation then. **** you'll probably have to pay the other teams to offload Denilson and Bendtner!

He's really not that bad... If you watch him for the national team outside of that stupid AMR position Wenger has given him he's quite good.

Could be a massive signing for City, only place i see him going in the Prem if he doesn't go to Madrid

The ever reliable realm of rumour that is twitter has decided, through some one of its more reliable/lucky-guessing sources, that the mystery international midfielder is in fact Gervinho. It is claimed that his release clause has been matched (possibly £9.75m), personal terms agreed in principal, but that his advisors are stalling in hope of having the deal hijacked by a bigger club. It is also claimed that Ashley is getting himself involved to push for a conclusion.

Furlong to Warr said:
You heard anything about we are hearing that Gervinho deal is set to be concluded this week! 9.75m is what we are hearing
Lots of hearing going on.

Warr to Furlong said:
Still pushing for an answer, release clause in contract has been met & personal terms agreed. Advisors has stalling the deal

Warr to World (or followers at least said:
Ashley now directly involved with Gervinho deal pushing for an answer or will move onto other targets. Gervinho keen but advisors stalling.

I say set Tioté on the advisors. Also, if I was to get a bit hypothetical and into this a bit, could it be that Drogba has worked some magic for Newcastle again and advised Gervinho to come here, as he did for Tioté? Could explain the handshake with Pardew.

Was gonna post this - he says it's not about money as his contract is on par with those of top players at top clubs, but he wants to reach heights he just cannot achieve while at Atlético. I do doubt he'll go to Real if he has other choices. If he hasn't, well...

I know, just having a go at Arsenal :P Still not my kind of player...

... so don't send him to Everton, please.

Or you could set Barton on the advisors, he can probably convince them... He has other methods, though :P

I read on twitter than RM are the only team to offer to meet the release clause.
