Ashley Cole set for a move to PSG after being unhappy at being offered only 1 year extension. PSG have offered a 3 year extension. Rumoured to leave in Jan or end of season

While I would like him to stay, he is by no means the LB he was 4-5 years ago... Would free up a good deal of wages as well and we got a ready replacement in Bertrand

Apparently Ambramovich has decreed that any player over 30 will only be offered one-year extensions unless the circumstances are exceptional ... Partly the reason why Drogba left and now it could be the turn of Lampard/Cole

What have you been doing on FM all this time?

Winning lol. Somehow never come across him in the game. Admittedly I normally look out for players I know a lot about already, or just scout the lower leagues as far as Northern Premier. What can I say? Need to go to specsavers lol

Waiting for the moment Godcubed sees this, not sure if he will mock you, or simply just cry. Both work for me TBH |)

I suspect both. I expect uber pwnage on a grand scale from his words of doom

SEYDOU NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Also, ajt, just get in a carehome for christ's sakes. If you can't find the most lethal system striker in FM it's only a matter of weeks before you need someone to wipe your **** for you and reassure you that yes, Leighton Baines still hasn't left.

Fair enough.

But I don't see the point of looking for a lethal striker when I can already win a division title and trophies with the squad I already have.

James McFadden set to join Sunderland on a short term contract

Chelsea will make a £30m bid for midfielder Fellaini in the January transfer window. Yeah it's the Mirror, but it's still a rumour. And I'm hungover so it's clouding my better judgement

Quite possible imo. Firstly Mikel is leaving for ACON in January. RDM does not trust Lampard in the double pivot for the big games. Factor in our already lack of depth in the CM position and all signs point towards us getting in a CM in January.

Fellaini is great although Moutinho is the type of CM we need tbh

Take it and run. (:

EDIT: You can probably squeeze them for £35m!

To be honest would rather keep him until the end of the season if we could. He's been outstanding this season so far. We lose him during the window it could do major damage. But it would appear the club has prepared itself for bids already lol

I agree, he has been fantastic but this form won't last forever. Sell him while he's the flavour of the month and Moyes will definitely reinvest that money in top quality players. (P.s don't sell him if the bank take all the transfer fee!) ;)

Arguable, this form he is showing has been since he was moved higher up the pitch this season for the first time consistently, so I think this form is pretty sustainable. He is a top player anyway but £35m would be extremely good price.
