Would be fun if he turns out another Torres. As a Liverpool fan I really hope Huntelaar joins us but he is a top class player and he probably won't come. But I reckon he wouldn't be too pricey. 10m maybe?

And more speculation for Cristian Tello (barca winger) to join us as well.. but once again, it would be a dream if he comes.

I read on the Sky Sports app under the 'paper talk' section before that Huntelaar hopes to move to Arsenal for around £6m now that Van Persie has been sold. But then again that's paper talk, he would be a great partner for Suarez imo :)

Think both of them could happen especially tello due to barca not renewing his contract.Would be 2 good signings for liverpool.

Huntelaar scored some 48 goals in 49 games last season or whatever... 10M would be cheapey xD

Why would he go to arsenal from schalke? We've clearly seen which is the better team this term...

The league is already over in Germany though, Schalke don't have a chance of challenging any time soon either. Arsenal still are a more ambitious team than Schalke and in my view still have a much better squad.

Arsenal ambtious? Hihi, yeah sure. And schalke have way more chanvce of snaping the bundesliga title then arsenal has of winning the PL. The trend is clear, any player who is at least somewhat smart will stay in the bundesliga. It has already overtaken the PL and is now second only to la liga. And taking the fincial situation and all into acount, in a few yaers the buli will be the best by miles

It hasnt over taken the Premier League... It has overtaken Serie A

Debatable whether the Bundesliga is better than the Premier League, my own opinion is La liga is the best league currently, and perhaps the Bundesliga may have the edge over the Premier League in this current season. Saying that I reckon the new Premier League TV deal might re-establish the Premier League's dominance in Europe again. (I am aware that the Bundesliga have signed a new TV deal as well for about double the money, but nothing compared to the Premier Leagues deal).

Sorry to go off topic a bit...

I would agree about La Liga. Bundesliga has probably had a better year so far, but very premature to say its overtaken the Premier League. And yes, provided the money is used right, Premier League can re-establish itself. Imagine how strong La Liga would be if it had collective TV rights.

the club of my dreams, where there is no number 10.
"For Mr Ferguson I'd also stay silent on the bench and I would work hard."

I laughed my *** off.

Canal+ reporting Demba Ba will join Arsenal in the first weeks of January. Not sure how reliable but they were the first to report that Giroud signed with Arsenal and I believe Santi Cazorla as well.

If true then our hunt for new striker in Spain is over. Thought that Ba would be our backup choice if we couldn't get anyone else. Still good signing who should hit ground running immediately and can play in CL.

Like I said I don't know how reliable it is but it's something.

Barcelona said they do not want to let David Villa leave. I honestly have never heard of Adrian so I don't know about him.

Sunderland and NY Red Bulls in talks with regards for loan move for Tim Cahill.
