KUTGW though, loving the little stories of the seasons :)

no rush triv, I know how much time and effort these updates take! 2 in 2 days would be heroic effort :P

Season 2 (2012/13)

European Championships 2012 (Poland/Ukraine)

Unsurprisingly, none of the players were called up to Euro 2012 so i wont go into detail. To cut a long story short, Spain beat France in the Final 1-0 on penalties after France missed all 5 in the shootout. Busquets was the match winner with the only penalty scored. The game had finished in a 2-2 draw before the shootout.

OCE Nations Cup 2012 (Fiji)

Rokocoko was called up for New Zealand, playing all 5 games as New Zealand went on to beat Tahiti 3-0 in the final. Rokocoko scored 4 times, including twice in the final.
Results: GrpA: v New Caledonia 1-1, v Vanautu 4-0, v Fiji 2-0, Semi: v Samoa 2-0, Final: v Tahiti 3-0

Name: Olly Allen (oja20)
Club: Barcelona/Barcelona B
Apps: 6/15
Goals: 2/8
Assists: 0/5
MOM: 0/2
Injuries: 2
Time Injured: 3 months, 1 week
Allen again was given plenty of outings for Barca's B team, impressing with 8 goals and 5 assists in just 15 games. This lead to a first team call up with 2 appearances in each competition, League, cup and europe. If not for a torn calf, keeping Allen out for 3 months, he may well have featured more for the first team. A good development season as Barca won La Liga and the Spanish cup, Allen having played twice in the cup receives a winners medal.

MOM: 2012 - 1 2013 - 1
Injuries: 4
Time Injured: 8 weeks
Arthur made an impressive 30 first team appearances for Shelbourne during the 2012 season. Shelbourne achieved their aim of staying up, finishing 6th and a massive 21 points above the drop. 2013 season isn't shaking up so well but its early days, at the time of writing Shelbourne are 8th just 3points above the relegation zone. Arthur again a regular, scoring 5 times so far.

Name: James Clements (*Jamess*)
Club: Arsenal
Apps: 1
Goals: 0
Assists: 0
MOM: 0
Injuries: 2
Time Injured: 5 weeks
A similar season to last for young Clements, getting a game for the first team in the league cup while spending the rest of the season impressing for the under 18s. A loan move would be good for Clements next term. It was also similar for the first team as under-pressure Wenger guided his team to 6th again, no European competition again, job under threat again.

Name: Michael Dale (Mike)
Club: Watford
Apps: 35
Goals: 0
Assists: 8
MOM: 2
Injuries: 3
Time Injured: 4 weeks
Dale got a big if unspectacular move during the summer of 2012 to championship side Watford for 525k. By big i mean a big step up in class not money... Dale slotted straight into the first team a proved he is capable of playing at this level. Watford achieved mid-table mediocrity with a safe 11th place finish in the Championship.

Name: Bloek de Schott (Calum)
Club: Charlton Athletic
Apps: 29
Clean Sheets: 9

MOM: 1
Injuries: 4
Time Injured: 5 weeks
Following Charlton's promotion to the Championship, de Schoot had to prove he could still be first choice 'keeper at a higher level. With 8 clean sheets in the league helping Charlton finish safely above the relegation zone, de Schott has stamped his authority on the number 1 spot. Charlton finished 15th in the Championship.

Name: Jak Katterfield (Jak)
Club: Leeds United
Apps: 31
Goals: 0
Assists: 2
MOM: 0
Injuries: 2
Time Injured: 3 months, 1 week
Katterfield was thrown into first team action for Leeds' attempt at promotion, starting 29 league games despite missing over three months through injury. Katterfield would be joined on the pitch by Nicholas Kituno on a season long loan from French Ligue 2 side St Etienne. Leeds season didnt start great, in and around the bottom 3 until around Christmas time. Off the field, Ken Bates sold up to an Aaron Gray lead consortium. Within 3 weeks of Gray's arrival Manager Simon Grayson was sacked and replaced by former England boss Steve McClaren. Under McClaren Leeds' form improved dramatically as the made a late and unlikely push towards the play off zone, ultimately missing out by one place and just one point finishing 7th.

Club: Saint-Etienne/Leeds United
Apps: 0/24

MOM: 0/1
Injuries: 1
Time Injured: 4 weeks
Following St Etienne's relegation to Ligue 2 Kituno was loaned out for the season in an attempt to keep their potential star happy while the club aimed to bounce back up first time. Leeds United in the English Championship was his destination. No matter if he'd stayed at St Etienne or with Leeds, his aim was the same: get the club promoted to the top division. Back in France, parent club St Etienne also failed in their promotion bid finishing 8th in Ligue 2.

Club: Real Madrid/Castilla
Apps: 0/16
Goals: 0/7
Assists: 0/3
MOM: 0/1
Injuries: 1
Time Injured: 2 months
A season of development for Newton spent almost exclusively playing for Castilla, 7 goals in 16 games wont have gone unnoticed by Mourinho. Real lost out to Barca in La Liga finishing second, runners up in the Spanish cup also to Barca but the season did end on a high as Mourinho's men beat Inter 3-0 in the UCL final.

Name: Triviño Rokocoko (Triv)
Club: Evian Thonon Gaillard
Apps: 36
Goals: 12
Assists: 1
MOM: 0
Injuries: None
Time Injured: N/A
Being the top scorer in Wales for Llanelli and impressing for New Zealand at the OCE Nations didnt go unnoticed and Roko got a big summer move. Where, i here you ask, United? Milan? Barcelona?? nah, Evian of course. I havent heard of this team to be honest but being in French Ligue 1 i'm not too unhappy. Founded as recently as 2003 and after 2 successive promotions, Evian's survival is a modern miracle, finishing 17th in Ligue 1. Roko coped well with the step up in class scoring 11 league goals finishing club top scorer.

Club: Manchester United
Apps: 3
Goals: 1
Assists: 0
MOM: 0
Injuries: 2
Time Injured: 3 weeks
A season of development playing for United's Under 18s was complement by a league debut and 2 cup outings which included Skywalker's first senior goal. Skywalker looks like having a good chance of making it at United, a loan next season should move things along nicely. United had a poor season finishing 5th in premier division and trophiless - a sad way for SAF's career to end, although his last game as United boss was a 3-1 home win against Liverpool.

Club: Arsenal/Southampton/Derby County
Apps: 0/2/4
Goals: 0/0/0
Assists: 0/0/1
MOM: 0/0/0
Injuries: 4
Time Injured: 8 weeks
A season spent out on a couple of short term loans in the Championship for Velderrama. Southampton first and then Derby yielded just 6 first team appearances, surely a disappointment. Gunners again off the pace in the premier division finishing 6th again as Wenger hangs on by the skin of his teeth.

Name: Joe Williams (Average Joe)
Club: Palermo
Apps: 0
Goals: 0
Assists: 0
MOM: 0
Injuries: 2
Time Injured: 2 weeks
Striker Williams was consigned to Under 18s duty only this season, 10 goals in 36 games didnt set the world alight to be honest. For Palermo it would be a historic season, despite finishing 10th in Serie A, a 1-0 victory over Lecce in the Italian Cup final sealed the club's first ever piece of silverware.

Shame about my average rating and lack of goals, but 31 appearances must say something :)

Nice update. Got a good year at Castilla under my belt and a couple of U21 caps, and a goal at that level :)

Strength's gone up by 5 in 2 years. Quite obviously getting HENCH.

Any news on comparisons etc?

Your player looks awesome and i'm sure goals will come with age and in a better team, i mean 20 finishing and 13 composure...

Heh, hopefully get signed by Arsenal in the future (that's why I started with Barnet, ******* Watford probably screwed my dream). Can I get a screenie of my Positions page? No worries if it's not possible, cheers.

Arthur = N/A
James Clements = Paul Gascoigne/Andrey Arshavin
Bloek de Schott = Jean-Francois Gillet
Jak Katterfield = N/A
Nicholas Kituno = Steve McManaman
Danny Newton = N/A
Triviño Rokocoko = N/A
Luke Skywalker = N/A
Kenrry Valderrama = Carlos Salcido
Joe Williams = N/A

I think they're all the same as before except for Williams who is no longer Carloton ;) Cole and Danny Newton who is no longer Christian Vieri, both a due to nationality changes

To be honest mate i think Watford is a good move, a step up is class but not too big a step. He still played regular first team football and Watford aren't a club likely to get promoted any time soon so a big move to a top should still be on the cards at some point.

Thankee, no wonder I'm not getting (m)any goals, I'm being played as a ML instead of a winger. Oh well, decent performances only lead to better ones.
