bought the game the night it came out and couldnt get in to it just kept browsing on it. All these comments are just making me not want to play the game even more. First ever FM ive had that I havent been bothered about. Is the game day still really in your face with all the tabs and boxes?

I think they have buffed free kicks too much, its 2/3rds of the way through my season and my LB has scored 11 free kicks. (13 FK 11 LS att.) I am in the BSP.
what are the rest of his attributes (technique decisons flair) 13 and 11 is quite high for bsp
I'll actually look forward to that when I go on tonight, it was terrible before. The ******* love child of David Beckham, Roberto Carlos and Cristiano Ronaldo couldn't have scored a free kick as it was.
I agree, I had never scored a FK on the last patch. But now I feel I am scoring too many.
Thats pretty good for your level. Starting a number of saves at various side so I will keep an eye out, but I wouldnt worry just yet.
My scouts say he league 2 level.
It feels similar to using a corner bug in previous versions, it just takes the fun out of the game imo.
I would also like to add that I have been seeing a lot more disallowed goals due to offside, for both me and the AI.
Just installed the update via steam but i have some questions about it.
In match, i have "only commentary". With previous update a match was winished in 5 minutes, now with this update it takes about 10-15 minutes to finish a match and it's getting annoying. The minutes are passing slower even with highlights speed at maximum. And after finishing a match there is no possibility to give team talk, it was removed for good or my update is going crazy? Thanks.

From my top flight experience they are not flying in like that so far. Maybe he is just too good for the keepers at his level. be interesting to see how he does if you get promoted
I'd agree about the goalkeepers, many will be very poor at that level. He is a player playing below his level and has a good free kick, unless he gets 30 in a season, I wouldn't be as disheartened as to say it takes the fun out of the game.
If it does, change your free kick taker.
I am managing Eastleigh in my second season. They start in the BSS and I won the league quite easily. I am sitting top of the BSP with 66 points, 6 ahead of 2nd place. There are 14 matches left in the season so hopefully I should see myself promoted. I'll keep track of him and see how he performs.
Yeah, it's really annoying. The only good to come out of this patch so far is I can actually save search filters now, I'm not impressed with this update at all.

I'm obviously gonna bite the bullet at some point and go online with steam, perhaps I'll wait to I finish my season, save it up and go from there, don't like the sounds of these free kicks tho!
Free kicks sound like they are doing what they are supposed to, which is good, unless you have short players and no free kick specialist

Few bugs in usability, rearranging how my tactics screen looks and not being consistent with it, occasionally not being able to drag and drop to swap players etc. All relatively minor things but when they happen time after time it's very frustrating. Then every one of my save games wouldn't load due to some Group_Error which SI couldn't resolve, ruining my Bournemouth in the Premier League in 2015 game. Had to uninstall and re-install just so I could start a new game that could actually then be loaded again. Now with the patch it probably won't work correctly unless I start a new game again. Think I'm going to go back to my multiple La Liga and Champions League winning Numancia side on FM12. What's the point of starting a new game now only for updates and a new patch to be out after the Jan transfer window? Anyway, minor rant over!

SI have ruined FM for me. Totally. Hours of work on a tactic that won me the league with Spurs in first season and Europa league now doesn't work. thanks.
