I use Carvahal with flat thrw trained. he has 16 attribute in LT.
k I first tried without any changes. but only 2 throws f his produced ccc. Altough I was already up by 2-0 due corners :D
then I just altered throw in instructions (kept evrythng else unchanged) and then scored 6 frm throwins with ML and MC being goal scorers. lol

I have kroos in MC and depay as ML

haha, i like the 433 best myself, but if you get a ***** from watching your team in a 4231 setup.. Be my guest :P :P :P

Very interesting, what where your exact changes?

just kroos was playing instead of odegaard. rest is same linup

In game carvahal throws straight to either kroos frm one side and to rodriguez frm the other. and booth kroos and rodriguez have "curls ball" and "shoots from distance" and they were scoring plenty. throw and then goal.

Also once or twice he gave to depay standing sm distance away frm near post. and depay turns and with his strong ryt foot places the ball in the net too :D

and one time opposition marked kroos and closed him down v early. so kroos then passed to vanyama lurking outside area (vanyama too has good long shots and shoot frm distance ppm). he also scored once

Great if it works for you! But i really dont see it, for as long as your player have the PPM long flat throw a throw in is treated as a corner and not a throw in. Meaning they will not come short and instead use the setup from corner settings..

oh. but perfrmnce changes when I set like this whatever may be the reason :D

visible diffrnce. and yah they dnt come short. not a single guy. instead they are v well set at goal scoring positions. MCs just outside the box to take long shots. DM slighlty away frm them. MCs are completly unamrked and so do the DM

While ML will stay like i mentioned for depay and MR same but on the opposide side. Striker smwhere in the centre :D
so MC, DM or ML, MR one the 4 mostly score. Striker doesnt seem to score directly but may get a chance f rebound but only once in 5 games till nw. MC has the maximum chance to score

and set pieces throw short, long, mixed??

Yes, this is the same corner setup i use in the my 433, except the side strikers are here M L/R positions

Will probably try the v2 later and maybe the 451 but may look at the stopper cover combo for my tweak as well
