I've dominated most games this season but this was certainly NOT one of them!

But we made it through to the Champions League Final where we face Lyon.

Pretty much a 4-4-2 throughout. Had my own standard version which I used for the first few seasons but after a couple of updates it fell apart. Now using a tweaked version of Modern Warfare as well as a 4-1-4-1 and 4-2-3-1 back up tactics that I throw in once in a while

I've been fighting on all trophy fronts this season and it may well cost me!

Extra time and penalties in an FA Cup final, made the Capital One Cup Final, the Champions League Final and two games to go in the League with a narrow 2 point lead!

OUR SQUAD IS AT BREAKING POINT!

Couple of left backs injured. First choice wingers definitely missing the Champions League final. We need some much needed luck!

Ultimately, with injuries to our first choice left back and two wingers we came up short!

I've no-one to blame but myself as I got greedy and wanted to win the everything instead of resting players in the final league games and FA Cup.

Ironically, the Champions League was the ONLY trophy we didn't win.

Last summers transfer budget was spent on 3 key players. This forthcoming summer I'll add good depth to the squad so we can cope better with injuries next year. Our young squad will be a year older and better prepared to make that final step.​
