Arsenal v Manchester United

Key moments:

16th minute
GOAL!!! Corner: Arsenal. Quinton Hayward whips in a vicious corner to the 6 yard box. Towering centre half Giuseppe Comotti rises to power in the opening goal. 1-0 Arsenal.

32nd minute

Yellow Card: Man Utd. Gonzalo Colaneri.

33rd minute
RED CARD: Man Utd. Olexandr Makoviychuk given a straight red card for a poor challenge - a real strikers challenge. Advantage Arsenal.

HALF TIME
ARSENAL 1 V 0 MAN UTD

67th minute
Woodwork to the rescue. Arsenal striker Wolfgang Erkinger sees his shot canon back of the post. That goal would have sealed it.

73rd minute
Yellow Card: Arsenal. Centre back Vito Maio takes one for the team on the half way line. Man Utd aren't giving up.

Injury Time
A goal and a man up Arsenal are within touching distance of a first ever Champions League title when centre midfielder Cuneyt Zeybek picks up a nasty injury and is stretchered off. Can Arsenal hang on!?!?!

FULL TIME!!!
ARSENAL HAVE DONE IT!! 1-0!! CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE!!!

CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE!!

After last seasons final heartbreak we managed to go one further and bring the trophy home!

By doing so I claimed my 5th continental trophy and thus COMPLETED THE PENTAGON CHALLENGE!!

What an achievement and what a career! Definitely the best save I've ever had on FM.

Having completed the Pentagon Challenge I played one extra season with Arsenal as I contemplate my next move. Winning the Champions League again with Arsenal might very well have inspired me to repeat the Pentagon Challenge in reverse.

However we lost to Man Utd on penalties in the Final and so I decided to resign and try out a different career path (continuing on this save as I don't want to lose it!).

I took the Brazil job in 2030 as I continued to think over where to go from here.

In the process I managed to win the 2031 Copa America with a Brazil team that managed to slip outside the worlds top 20 ranked teams.

THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE CHALLENGE

Finally I decided to embark on the Stonecold/Klippybo Champions League found HERE. Basically I have to win the Champions League with all 22 previous real life past winners from Barcelona to Nottm Forest.

I had the English and Spanish leagues loaded from before and I've added Serbia where Red Star Belgrade have a Champions League to their name.

I'll remain in charge of Brazil as I wait for a suitable job to become available. This could range from the Barcelonas or Man Utds to the Nottm Forests or the Red Star Belgrades. Whichever job appears first I'll apply for and start from there.

One year on and an ex-Champions League winning job still hasn't became available. Red Star and Nottm Forest came close to sacking their managers but both survived so I've replace the Serbian league with the Italian league in the hope that some jobs become available sooner.

In the meantime I won the 2032 Olympic Games with Brazil.
