After a year and a half waiting for an appropriate job to appear two came at once! Inter and Nottm Forest. Forest was with a £35k transfer budget and were already £40k over their weekly wage budget so I declined as I want to get a few Champions Leagues under my belt early enough.

So off to Milan. Inter sit a terrible 12th in Serie A (no wonder the manager was sacked!) but they have progressed safely into the knockout stages of the Champions League.

As we approach the draw for the First Knockout Round of the Champions League we sit 4th, a massive improvement from the 12th position we were in when I took over.

The tie was over after 30 mins and as fate would have it we drew my old club Arsenal in the next round!

In truth a deserved victory for my old club who still have many of the top class players I left behind. An away goal but this is a top side we face in the return leg. Fingers crossed.

We threw the kitchen sink at Arsenal but couldn't claim a winner before the penalty lottery went against. All four Arsenal penalty goalscorers were players I signed for them :'(

End of Season 2032/33

Sitting 12th in Serie A when I took over in November we managed to put a run together and finish 3rd, an important finish as it guarantees a place in next years Champions League group stages

In the Champions League we were knocked out in the Quarters coming unstuck against my old team Arsenal who still have a top class team.

The Coppa Italia provided me with my first piece of silverware as manager of Inter - a comfortable 2-0 win over Atalanta in the final.

The basis of a Champions League winning team is already here at Inter but we despartely lack quality strikers. Whatever budget I'm given will be spent in this area and if there's any left over then a winger may follow.

For Brazil we are about to embark on a Confederations Cup campaign. I'd like to remain Brazil manager until at least the 2034 World Cup.​

ANOTHER F-ING CRASH DUMP!

We were sitting pretty at the top of Serie A by 5 points, won the Super Cup v AC Milan and qualified from the Champions League group.

I'm not quite sure when I last saved it as I've completely raged-quit after yet another crash dump. FM13 is the only version I've ever had a crash dump and there's about one every 3 months now!

I'm taking a break from FM13 for a while as I couldn't be arsed replaying all the matches again since my last save.

Loading up FM10 and continuing with my long term save on that. Into 2042 now with over 1,500 matches played and 102 cup wins! Oh and a cool weekly wage of £775,000 (6)
 
Instead of replaying all the matches I'd lost because of the crash dump (about 10 games) I decided to give Instant Result a try to catch up and it works a treat. Only downfall is the assistant makes the subs during games and he made some that I wouldn't have otherwise made.

Anywho, straight to the point. I've continued the save and drew Shakthar in the First Knockout Round. Can I claim a first Champions League win in the new challenge? Stay tuned...
