Robbie Blake scored the late winner for new club watford

Fabio 53 - Graham 39 , Blake 82

Watford will be happy on their way back south after recording a great away victory.

striker danny graham scored the winner with an effort off the inside of the post on 39. fabio then equalised for borough on 53 minutes with a placed shot. robbie balke then won it for watford on 82 with a placed shot

derby battled to a deserved victory in front of an expectent home crowd. derby's young midfielder steven davies netted the first after only 4 minutes scoring a well timed close range finish. Davies completed the scoring on 66 minutes with a quality free kick.

The final score didnt flatter watford who could have scored a lot more.

watford took the lead through blake on 43 with a placed shot. balanta was left red faced on 59 mins with an own goal.
Hoskins scored the next goal on 69 with a powerful effort. the last goal was an own goal by patrick agyemang.

Watford were simply to good for a poor peterborough at vicarage road.
stephen McGinn scored an absolute screamer on 45 minutes from 20 yards. henri lansbury the scored on 82 following a superb watford move.

Penalty Heartache For Watford

Watford Players Were In Tears After The Match

1st Leg : Watford 0-1 Birmingham
2nd Leg : Birmingham 0-1 Watford ( 5-3 On Pens )

Watford were left devstated after all of the hard work came down to a missed penalty in a shoot out.

watford managed to squre the game on aggregate after radek cerny had put the ball into his own net.
but as the pressure of the penalites came it was one of watfords best players in the season sander duits who was the unfortunate one to miss. duits was inconsolable at the end of the game.

Thomas said " im extremely proud of everyone at the football club for coming this far on such a small budget and the players are all great credits to a superb football club, and the fans are some of the best in the world, its disspointing to lose, but i would like to say cingratulations to everyone at the club and the fans for a great season."

A decent pre-season getting some really good draws and putting in some decent performances against some very good premier league teams. The squad have been in a relaxed mood over the pre season and still work hard to be fit, and with a smaller squad than last year it is vitall they are all up for it. we only had 4 friendlies as it was a chance to put the team up against quality opposition.​

a decent victory on the opening day, mcginn was outstading he bossed the midfiled, very comfortbale in the end. to very good Goals mcginns from 30 yards.​

A very close game and hoskins came off the bench to score the winner could have easily been a diffrent score on another day, but got through that all that matters and have drawn NOTTS COUNTY next.​

another late winner from hoskins who has been a super sub for the last 2 games, it was a very tight game but too late goals helped keep the 100% record even though we didnt have the better of the play.​

Reading dominated the game and we just managed to scrape a draw thanks largely to scott loach, carsley was sent off just before half time which didnt help, but loach was outstanding.​

watford have brought in 4 players in the summer transfer market. the 1st singing was experienced midfileder Tobias Linderoth from Dinamo Bucharest For £140K. ​

The next signing was Manchester Utd's young central midfielder Matt James on a season long loan.​

The 3rd And The Biggest Signing of the transfer market was Jan Venegoor Of Hesselink on a Free Transfer.​

The Final Singing Was attacking midifielder Nacer Barazite on a season long loan from arsenal.​
