MILLERS DRAW LAZIO IN EUROPA LEAGUE
View attachment 88732

Rotherham United have drawn Italian giants S.S. Lazio in the First Knockout Round of the Europa League

The two time Serie A winners also lifted the European Cup Winners Cup in 1999 and have a high European pedigree having navigated a group containing Wolfsburg, KV Mechelen and Ukrainian side FC Vorskla Poltava

Rotherham got into this round having topped Group I, dropping just 3 points in 6 games after losing 1-0 in Marseilles

That blip aside, Rotherham were impeccable, beating Romanian side Dinamo Bucuresti 5-0 both at home and away from home

They also beat Marseille 3-1 at home which was coupled with 3-1 victories over Villarreal both home and away

QUIET JANUARY AS ROTHERHAM FOCUS ON LEAGUE
View attachment 88690

A quiet January has seemingly benefited Rotherham United as the Millers have shrugged off their usual new year malaise, flying through January with an unbeaten record, winning 6 and drawing 1 of their 7 games

The Millers kicked off the month with a 3-1 home win over league leaders Arsenal, inflicting on the Gunners their first league defeat of the season. Rotherham soon followed this up with a 1-0 win in the FA Cup away to Sunderland and a 3-2 win away at Southampton

Rotherham soon topped these wins with possibly their greatest wins of the month, toppling Liverpool 3-1 before smashing Brentford 6-1 at Lionel Road, with 4 Millers players getting on the scoresheet

A slightly disappointing 1-1 draw with Leicester followed before they ended the month with a big 3-0 win in South Wales as they navigated their way past Swansea City in the FA Cup

MILLERS FANS DESPAIR AT INCONSISTENT FEBRUARY
View attachment 88593

An inconsistent month plagued by injuries has seen Rotherham United slip to 4th in the Premier League, with many fans worrying the slide may continue

The Millers, who started the month at the top of the league have seen results dip in recent weeks, as they kicked off their month with a 3-0 defeat to Watford

This match also saw top scorer Kristijan Tomasic damage his Achilles tendon, rendering him unavailable for the rest of the season

The Millers followed that up with a draw against Manchester City and a win over Norwich before crashing out of the FA Cup 4-2 to Liverpool

The Millers ended the month with a disappointing 0-0 draw with South Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday

Some solace, however, came in Europe, as Rotherham overcame Lazio 3-0 on aggregate. They will face Wolfsburg in the next round
