MILLERS SIGN TWO
View attachment 1119952
Rotherham United have continued their summer spending in bringing in a duo of first team players for a total of £4.5m

First to sign was arguably the more important of the two signings with Rotherham United signing James Tarkowski for £4.3m

The Manchester-born defender had a release fee of £4.3m in his contract following Burnley's relegation and the 26 year old left the club where he made 64 league appearances for pastures new

The centre back, who's appeared for Oldham, Brentford and Burnley and brings a wealth of experience to the New York Stadium

The second signing was that of Tunisian international Slim Jouini from ES Tunis for £240,000

Jouini, 20, has been a long time target of Hawkins' and the 12-time Tunisia international has finally been secured by the Welshman

Jouini made 54 league appearances for ES Tunis and is held in high regard by the Tunisian club

Two wins and a draw from three league games, not bad!

Really enjoying this story so far, hopefully you can stay up. One thing I will say and not that this matters is that the Premier League is not sponsored by Barclays anymore and is just called The Premier League.

Nielsen, 19, ran down his contract with the Danish champions to join Rotherham, citing his need to prove himself on the bigger stage

The centre back made 14 league appearances for his boyhood club before joining before joining a resurgent Rotherham side, who have won 3 and drawn 1 of their last 7 games, including a 3-0 win over Bristol City that has seen the Millers into 14th in the Premier League

The Wales international will bring a wealth of experience despite being just 22, with the Cardiff-born defender being the proud owner of 15 Wales caps

He is also experience at club level, making 105 league appearances for Newport, Doncaster, Burton Albion and Bristol City as well as 3 cup appearances for Manchester United

MILLERS SMASH TRANSFER RECORD (AGAIN)
View attachment 89928

For the second time in two transfer windows Rotherham United have broken their record on a fee paid for one player

The Millers have smashed their record once more, signing left winger Richard Williams from Blackburn Rovers for a fee of £15.25m

The Millers had a number of bids rejected before they met the England Under 21 international's release clause

The 19 year old winger came through the ranks at Blackburn but never made an appearance, instead playing for Gillingham and Sheffield Wednesday, with whom he won promotion to the Premier League last season

He was also part of the England Under-19 side who won the Under-19s European Championship in Armenia in 2019

FIVE JOIN MILLERS
View attachment 89859

A very busy day at the New York Stadium has finally concluded, with the Millers bringing in a total of five players to bolster their squad

Players were wheeled in and out of press rooms and the medical department as signing after signing was revealed

The first announced was that of Felipe Aguiar from Flamengo for £4.5m

Aguiar, the costliest of the Millers' signings has been brought in to provide competition for the defensive midfield spot in Rotherham's 4-3-3

The 18 year old made 7 appearances for Palmeiras before cutting his loan short to join Rotherham

The teenager was part of the Flamengo side that took Borussia Dortmun to penalties in the Club World Cup final and impressed for Brazil at the Toulon Tournament and at the 2020 Olympics, where they finished 3rd and 4th respectively
View attachment 89858

The second signing announced was that of Lee Pulis from Swansea City for a fee of £800,000

Another midfielder, Pulis is a more attacking player than Aguilar and the 16-year-old is being touted by some as the "Next Aaron Ramsey"

The Newport-born midfielder came through the ranks at Newport before jumping ship to Swansea and the Rotherham
View attachment 89856

The next signing is a whole lot more experienced than the first two, this signing being that of Jonny Evans from West Brom for £195,000

The Northern Ireland international, who was on the transfer list at the Hawthorns has signed a two year deal with the Millers

The 32-year-old has 86 caps to his name as well as 316 Premier League appearances for Manchester United, West Brom and Sunderland
View attachment 89855

The next signing was another centre-back, this one being Kevin Doumbia who joined from Rio Ave for £975,000

Doumbia, an Ivorian international, made 20 appearances for the Portuguese side after joining on a free from ASEC for whom he made 38 senior appearances

The 19 year old is highly rated and already has 4 full international caps to his name
View attachment 89854

And last but not least is another defender, this one being Ross Kamara who's joined from Middlesbrough for £950,000

The 16 year old is yet to play at any level for England but hopes are high for the Middlesbrough-born defender

I noted that Matic now plays for Stoke??!! What happened to the poor lad haha.

Also I know it may be inconvenient, but I would love to do my own story for a new save but have no idea how the forum works really and how to screenshot results. Could you PM me some tips please?

Cheers and keep it up!
