I know and its about 10 years old, everything in it is falling apart and my dad refuses to buy a new car .
The only bonus is i dont think illl have to pay insurance to drive it as my parents are already covered, saying that im not sure if ill qualify for cover if i write it off, which in itself will surely be a favour to mankind. (A)

wouldn't spend 6000 on a new car mate. buy a little run around 1.6 litres are good, not big on insurence either. your guarenteed to have a crash in your first years driving. and if you have a crash in a 1 grand car the insurence renewel is gonna be alot less than if you crash a 6 grand car

Totally agree, when i get a job im saving for a second hand mini, the insurance is as cheap as they come as is the car (hopefully), and a mini is THE *** (H)

1.I started off with a 1988 ford escort 1.4 rs turbo lookalike!
2.then progressed to a 1.6 golf(good solid car!)
3.a clio 1.6 ST was next(nippy as f**k!)
4. 2ltr golf GTI was next and my favourite(yes the fully red gti was so quick it was scary!)
5.just bought a 1.6 mini cooper because my good lady is now taking driving lessons!
