Purchased myself WWE 2K17 on the PS4 last week, can't get off it! Absolutely loving mycareer

Yeah I am nearly through 2 just picked up legion and done all the loyalty quests. Loving it cannot wait to crack on with 3 and also the witcher 2
 
About to come to the end of my Mass Effect trilogy journey for about 84th time, I absolute despise the ending but love the game. Tempted to start it all again straight after. Really need my desktop fixing though with Stellaris expansion on the horizon, it does look the dogs bollocks and the game seems to be finally realising its huge potential
 
Planescape Torment successor is coming out in like 3 weeks. We'll see how the game will turn out, but after just seeing the trailer, I gotta say the story they've set up is more interesting than anything I've seen in video games for ages.

Bit of a tricky situation. Stellaris going for a discount on Green Man Gaming, and I've got a 5% off discount voucher in my email box because birthday today. So in total that's 30% off. What's the state of the game right now? I'm trying to save for a GPU but I do admit I'm tempted by this.

My desktop has been out of action for a while but from what I can tell its pretty decent. 1.4 will drop in a few weeks too and looks like a game changer. Mike (mod) has been on it recently so maybe drop him a message and ask him. Also lots and lots of mods that can tweak it to how you want it as always, some really good ones too.

Going to upgrade my desktop in couple of weeks, worth going for 4-core CPU for FM and strategy games?

Yeah, I thought as much. I'm sort of torn right now between just buying Intel and having new machine in a couple of days, or waiting 1-2 months to see if upcoming AMD CPUs are going to be worth bothering with. :(

I have the current gen AMD processor and they're pretty nifty playing my games without a GPU as other things just keep cropping up.
 
All being well desktop is coming back home tomorrow, really cannot wait at all, I finish work at 3pm and I am not back till 10pm Wednesday I going to cook some nice food enough for the few days and just veg out and hit my steam library. I've not gamed on PC in over a month nearly 2 in fact, probably going to break the habit of a lifetime and play EU4 for a few days but has anyone got any recommendations? Strat or grand strat or RPG
 
Anyone has a suggestion for games I could play on my laptop?
I could play Skyrim on decent quality, but I doubt I could go much better.

What genres you into? Also its amazing how even now people can still use skyrim as a benchmark I did this myself only the other day when having a pc convo with a mate
 
I haven't played many different games really. Last one was Guild Wars. Didn't like GW2. Played a bit of Skyrim really but I think I'm more into online games, because playing solo just gets me bored after a while. Did also play some Civ and FM, but it doesn't interest me that much anymore probably because it's offline or turn based and I prefer some realtime interaction. Also a no to LoL.

Before that I used to play Warcraft 3 mostly for those mini games on battlenet.

Maybe Ask Gramps what he thinks, I'm more strategy and RPG kinda gamer. I get my desktop back in 10 hours not that I am counting or anything...
