Must be me than, since I don't care about graphics that much.

From what I know Vikings have some weird optimization thingy and it's really hard to play as Vikings. It's hard to remain public order as them since you don't get any bonuses from your townsmen/generals till you max skill them. Which is annoying as ****. And today is official start of third season of Vikings on TV. I ******* love the show. And there's Ragnar Lothbrok in the game 8-| So yes, I will be buying Viking DLC as soon as I get some cash available.

i bought the viking DLC today really enjoying it

That sounds promising, you two made me consider breaking my oath to never touch TW game again until at least half a year from release. :D

Saw a lot of hype about watchdogs prior to release but knew I would not have time to play it so deliberately avoided any reviews and discussion. And so far I have managed to avoid almost any comment on the game so I'm going into it pretty open minded. Here's hoping it isn't a buggy crapfest.

In in my mind based on the trailers its a game comprising of parts of some of my favourite games, hitman, driver, heavy rain and grand theft auto, with the over riding theme being the semi futuristic hackable world, where I can intercept a nearby phone call, stop a train, blow an electrical transformer and everything in between to help me towards my goal.

i purchased it today. £20 at Tesco for the PS4 version including some add on content. About 2 hours game time so far, early days but it seems very promising. The combat system seems a little clunky, and the police are ******* hard to evade if you end up in a gun battle with them, but the point of the game is more about stealth and relying on hacking anything nearby to help you out so ropey combat isn't the end of the world.

Critics will probably say 'it's just GTA but you can hack stuff.' - probably true but I am mind numbingly bored of Trevor after over a year of hillbilly lunacy, this twist on the format is refreshing so far.

I have been playing a real fun Portugal game on EU$ to try out some of the new DLC features and I am now faced with a difficult decision, Leon and Catalunya are both my vassals 1 more war with Castille and I can form Spain as Portugal and I do not know whether to or not oO). But yeah I have been really putting the hours into EU4 again good job I have no uni anymore.

Million percent buying it! Just not sure on which platform as I am buckling and buying a PS4 next payday the previous one rejuvenated the series iMO I loved the story mode.

Same here! I'm on Xbox One so if you have one of those I'll play with you :)

This one is looking really good, have you watched any of the trailers? Brutalities are back in a fashion!

I am torn on which console to buy, I had a 360 but then moved onto PC, majority of my online 360 bought xbox one but majority of my real life friends have bought PS4 so I am really really torn on which to buy. Edging towards the play station but got a month to make my mind up

Well if you go for Xbox One give me a shout and I'll pimp slap you around with Goro for a while ;)

Anyone preordered cities:skylines for tomorrow? I got it the day it was available, I really was not expecting it to get this much of a following so early but looks like colossal order have breathed fresh life into the city building genre. Nothing can be worse then simcity tho tbf!

After a 3 hour bash on cities skylines you can colour me officially impressed! On first impressions this is the game that SimCity wishes it was

Sid Meier's Starship came out - smoothly done game, as you'd expect from Firaxis, but rather generic.

As a principle I don't mind simplifying strategy games (indeed, to many newbie developers make a mistake of packing too much **** into the game without a care in the world), but this thing seems far too oversimplified to have longterm real replayability. Still, for 15$ I suppose you can't complain, good space-strategy romp to beat over the weekened and then forget about it.

Thanks to mod support, I think it's going to end being the best game in the genre's history. It's pretty close already, just needs some DLC and some fine tuning.

Reminds me a bit of FM mobile: unapologetically dumbed down for a portable market. Nothing wrong with that, but it doesn't really appeal to me.

Yeah I am really enjoying the small time I have sank into it, not had as much time as I would like due to it being one of the younglings birthday. I like a lot of the features and how it all fits together and just feels like a proper, proper game and not some EA cash grab. I agree once the mods a fired out and we get some quality DLC this game will be something special indeed. Some stuff needs tweaking too in game but this game will get lengthy patch support too. I am free Wednesday so once I go get my sleeve started I will be having a mega sesh on Skylines whilst watching city/barce so long as I don't reload Vicky2 first ;)

Gotten heavily back into World of Warcraft WoD, mainly due to the fact I'm a fully fledged raider now. It's so much more fun once you start raiding. As long as you don't get bad Pug's (Pick Up Groups). There are times when you get a bunch of noobs that screw things up on purpose.

I've never experienced end game content before until now. And it's like a breath of fresh air.

There is however one sad thing. Death Knights are great for levelling etc in the open world (of Warcraft). But they are horribly broken in raids. Which is real sad as I love Death Knight class.

But Holy Priest is where it's at.

Exactly! You can feel the effort and the attention that they've put into so many aspects of the game. There are some teething issues but the the developers that made it have an amazing track history with DLC, both in terms of how they implement it and just the quality of it all.

If you're interested, I've made a London map. Have been stuck inside all week and will be all of next week, so I will be updating and fixing things as I go. Building a motorway that can scale to a top end city is proving to be something of a challenge atm...

I've unexpectedly got a few hours on my hands tonight because the ball and chain is out so I will take a look after the football, yes there are so many little details in this game that just set it apart. One of my favourite features is the road builder it is just so easy to use and you're not tied to generic grids as much even if I suppose they're more efficient.

Had a quick gander of the map in half time because I am an impatient ******, Got to say mate good work even though it is in its infancy. The first tile presents some really interesting choices IMO on how to set up zoning do you use the river as a divider or work one side till the cash flows I really like it! I have subscribed and will send have uprated/voted whatever it is. I will send you a steam add too.

Was theory-crafting with some people about some kind of total conversion mod for skylines rather than have 3 levels of present day tiers you would have 3 distinct eras instead something like victorian, post war and then modern day and would have to wait for time to elapse also for a building to upgrade. it is only a concept at the minute and I really do not know if I will have time to be involved as I am already involved in a mod for HOI4 once that releases. But this would be along term project once the hype dies a bit.
