I don't mind paying for mods. Some of these guys put in inhuman amount of work for free. One of my favourite games is Vampire The Masquerade, which got literally saved from exctinction by one guy, who spend last 10 years tirelessly making patches and fixes. Pretty amazing, that kind of dedication, and I don't mind throwing people like that a few bucks.

But, 75% cut for Valve would be absolute bullshit if true.
 
ANyone played Galactic civilizations 3 I know its only beta but just wondering if any good? Enjoyed the last one but don't want to end up shelling out for something if it is just a graphical update if you get me well not till its 75 percent off or something
 
I saw some videos of Path of Exile and it looks cool. Anyone here plays it? Is it any good?
 
Not much of a fan of Gal Civ myself. Seemed like a fun game but never hooked me up.

Played that game so much in my youth, and on the subject of nostalgic games Final Fantasy 10 is re-released on PS4 next week I could never beat sin the second time round probably because I spent to much time playing blitzball rather than levelling up well not this time!
 
Gotta say PoE is really good. There's a lot of things I have no idea what they're doing, but thats part of the fun!

I've got that! Only played a bit but would love to play more if I had a decent space to set up a PC.

That haunted house was class!
 
Bought final fantasy 10 for ps4 and its awesome, every bit as good as I remember! And I think a blitzball related separation could quite possibly be on the cards! Dammit Square make a proper blitzball game already! ;)
 
Currently alternating between intense bouts of FIFA 15 and these pet games which my son loves to play (yes, I do play all kinds and types of games (H)). The wife would anyday prefer playing her candy crush, minecraft and plants versus zombies over real games like these; no clue why.

Can anyone recommend any cheap PC games to download.

I'm thinking around a fiver.

Also, anything for 3DS or Vita to pick up for my holiday in august
