I bought Mad Games Tycoon a while back and never launched it, well finally did last night and it did not disappoint. Its like a far superior version to Game Dev Tycoon but you actually run a company and could just be a publisher or even a production company. Still has a few issues but if you enjoyed Game Dev Tycoon or that game left you underwhelmed and wanting more complexities this is well worth a look.

11 quid right now, I bought it for 50% off though ages ago just to activate my steam account. I would imagine it should see some disco in the winter sale in a week or so (17th iirc)

And I could probably find lots of games that will make your wallet empty haha, and I get my bursary week Friday backdated toseptember that's dangerous!

I've not started half the other games I've bought lately lol.

I'll chuck that on my wish list, sounds good!

I did try second screen on the laptop btw, started very well but lost connection quickly I think i may need to wire xbox and pc to the router for it to work properly

Yeah my oldsteam account was like that, had nearly 300 games and all I played was Europa Universalis or Victoria. Subtle will tell you all I do is play Vic now but I do try to diversify!

I just end up on FM tbh! So easy to play and watch tv....

I've probably got 20 odd games, recently bought the killer bundle on bundle stars to get Shadow Warrior classic before I found out it's free on steam anyway! Derp!

just bought the game making bundle well 2 one for me one for the youngling, he wants to get into it built him a pc for xmas. But you get great deals every so often on there that are insane especially Paradox games.

Eldest is 11, tbf he is my stepson but for all intents and purposes he is mine. Youngest is 5 she.......is hard work, having a daughter you see where the whole high maintenance **** starts. It is fact the Dad's fault because you sit there telling her that she is beautiful whilst you run around doing everything she says because you're wrapped round her little finger. Don't have daughters is my advice

Yeah has lots of promise pretty close to exiting early access, has awesome features even buy film licences. will be awesome when a real world mod comes out which I may do tbf

Well I bought Starcraft 2 Legacy of the Void. Gone ham on Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm and finished Heart of the Swarm couple of hours ago (only started it about day and a half ago). Didn't expect much-best RTS experience I've had for a good while. Started Legacy of the Void this morning and thoroughly enjoying it so far. Wish I'd bought Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm sooner-campaigns were just brilliant and I'll be doing them again on hard, and may attempt brutal.

Pretty sad there's going to be no more Starcraft games now

Also, tried to fire up my laptop on sunday and it turns on to a fully blank screen. Ideal. Apparently it's commen enough to have a fair few threads on it on the internet.

Supposed to take the battery out and put back in then press shift F8 and the power button to fix it. My problem is the ****** battery is screwed in and I had no screwdriver to fit it. So I was not too pleased when I had the whole afternoon free to play but couldn't!

Blizz just decided to wrap up everything in the Starcraft universe sadly-I suspect to concentrate on the other stuff like Overwatch and Heroes of the Storm. Number of players has also dropped quite a bit. From next year though they're going to be releasing stuff like Mission Packs

Never had that happen to me but will keep an eye on it, luckily I am one of those guys who has the bag with everything in it from screwdrivers to beef stock (because you never know right when you'll need an oxo cube?????)

I am playing Blizzard's Heroes of the Storm, it's a free and pretty fun and casual game. It's different from other MOBAs because there is no farming, and supports are considered good and not second class. The community is by far less toxic than any other MOBA I've seen.


They are having a Christmas event starting tomorrow, it involves heroes from all Blizzard's franchises Diablo / StarCraft / WarCraft. Getting into it is pretty smooth. When i first see these games I think to myself "where is the fun in that!?" then I remember I play basically a spreadsheet in football manager and create imaginary games IN a game that you never actually play on Game Dev Tycoon...

Epic - I took home a screwdriver that fit, removed battery and refit it. Held Shift and F8 then hit the on button. Screen came back on no problem. Not really sure the cause, nobody seems to on the internet either!

Because I am a massive nerd and have bought Star Wars tickets for Thursday and am a teeny weeny bit exciteable decided to spend 3 of my English pounds on KOTOR get me in the mood for the force!
