If you get stuck or just want to talk about what to do etc I will be online all night Saturday and Sunday because I am working, so just ping me on the chat. It is a bit of a arseache at first especially getting a good product balance to compliment your playstyle. Took me a few hours to get it right. Makes it a lot more enjoyable though.

Sounds fair, I am off tonight to see it cannot wait. Think it is the start of the winter sale tonight on steam, shame there is nothing I really want. Although can load up the Younglings steam account with games though. His mum is going to love me (H)

Haha decent idea!

Got no plans to see the new one yet, my Mrs is though! She knows far more about the films than me.

Oh another sale, I am skint though so doubt I'll be buying even if I wanted to!

I am not sure how this one will work tbh, Steam have done away with flash sales according to Eurogamer so should be interesting to see how goes, I am getting 4 months worth of bursary tomorrow so I will be spending 50 quid or something on steam for him. He ls that subnautica game I am guessing his age group are what all these ******* crafting/survival games are aimed at. Wonder what the next trend will be in pc gaming.

Anyone played Underail? looks very Fallout 2ish may have to invest.

I've grabbed it for 8$ while it was in Early Access. It nails down the old Fallout atmosphere perfectly (the world is sort of Fallout meets the Metro series). Everything from visuals to music has that familiar vibe. But, its almost entirely focused on exploration and combat. To the point where I wouldn't even call it an RPG. Its basically exploration game with turn-based combat. The quests, the NPCs and the plot are of course there, but its all very barebones and light on text, and the writing is mediocre at best.

Combat systems, character progression etc. are all beautifully done and a lot of fun. I play it for couple of hours every now and then, but its best taken in small bursts, otherwise I get bored quickly. Its also oldschool to a fault - how can you have no map, in 2015? That's just textbook example of game trying too hardcore simply for the sake of it.

Its certainly a fun little game that expertly accomplishes what the creators set out to do. And for very affordable price, too. But people calling it "the real Fallout 3" are full of ****.

Finallly figured out how to make EU4 run a an acceptable speed in ironman, glorious day, although exams in 2 weeks could have picked a better time >.<

I am very into counter strike competitive, but the love for FM never faded. :)

Exams over time to smash the life out of my steam sale purchases! And complete some EU4 achievements!

I can safely say I've abandoned all other games.....uninstalled World of Warcraft.....and am now very heavily addicted to Starcraft 2. Finished all the campaigns, been pracitsing 8-10 hours a day and am about to hit unranked today, then later may attempt some laddering.

Seriously-Starcraft has been the best gaming experience I've ever had these past couple of months-from Wings of Liberty to Legacy of the Void, it's been absolutely brilliant. I have literally played nothing else.

RIP World of Warcraft, Dragon Age:Inquisition, Alien: Isolation...................

Goddam you Blizzard lol

Only ever played Red Alert 2 competitively (well as competitive as random ranked matches can be on there!)

The game is so different online than vs AI. I'd imagine Starcraft is similar!

Oh yeah. The AI is absolutely NOTHING like the human players. First time playing against a human opponent you can 100% expect to get rekt lol. But it's the best way to get better tbh. And the ability to view full replays of your games is an absolute godsend to spot mistakes. There's a former SC2 caster on Youtube (Day9) who also streams stuff like Hearthstone and other stuff, who's done some awesome guides for the newbies and even though they're old they're 100% relevant. Like he said-if you only play it for the fun you won't mind losing. It's the only game I've played where I've been absolutely s**t on and not minded which I've never experienced in any other online game (especially Hearthstone). 100% salt free

I'm in gaming limbo at the moment, looking through my Steam Library unable to decide what I want to play.

Rocket League? Only to kill a little time maybe..

Arma 2/3? Not in the mood.

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare? Nah.

GTA V? Too many idiots.

Left 4 Dead 2? Too many Russians.

Warhammer Vermintide? Too PVE.

The Witcher 3? Bored of it.

I need a new game. Dishonored 2 would do, at least for 10-15hrs which is probably how long it takes to run through.

Will be even sweeter when you win!

I remember smashing my mate by just using a ridiculous amount of those flying jetpack men to swarm everything of his. Poor soul had so little anti air haha.

Let us know how you get on

Is it strictly FPS online you are after or you like other games?

Pretty much FPS yeah, only strategy game I like is Civ V and the only RPG game I like is Elder Scrolls.

I would suggest fallout if you haven't tried it already, same makers as Skyrim and 4 at least is more FPS than RPG imo
