What Roles and Duties Best suit my players?

pastore - attacking mid - attack
lampard - advanced playmaker - support
rodwell - ball winning mid - defend
advanced playmaker - support
even world class players have poor form occasionally. give him time to bounce back from it. moreover, he's only 21.
He is a regen but can anyone judge on his stats. Playing as Complete Forward but not getting amazing results at the moment
anyway, i'd stick with him as a complete forward - attack
kris boyd - target man - support
scott mcdonald - poacher
give him some time to bounce back from his poor form.
fred - deep lying forward - support
sturridge - poacher
central mid - support
advanced playmaker - support
set long shots to rarely as he seeoms to miss the target all the time
advanced forward - attack
forlan - target man - support
agbonlahor - poacher
poacher makes the most out of his speed
've just spent 32M on Neymar. What duty and role should I give him in order to get the best out of him? Does he work best on his own up front or with a partner? If he works well witha partner, what role should his partner be?
Really want to get the best out of this player seeing as I spent so much on him.

P.S My other strikers with Shakhtar are Eduardo and Luiz Adriano so I was thinking about going with Eduardo and Neymar and using Luiz Adriano as back up

he works well as complete forward, but you can also play him as advanced forward or poacher

I play that formation and i have it sussed
Hi there my friend, what i do is with the 3 central mid players is this, the 1 on the left hand side make him a "ball winning mid defend ( a player that has high tackling and anticipation stats). The 1 in the Middle has to be a " box to box"(a player which has high stamina fairly quick and if u can an added bonus of long shots and passing stats) and the 1 on the right as an advanced playmaker attack (he MUST have high passing, creativity, first touch, teamwork and work rate stats) The AMC use him as an inside forward support (tevez is perfect for this position) plus what i think you should do because city do have the funds is to buy Javier Pastore and play him as the advanced playmaker in the midfield he is what gets the team attacking in, in my first season he got 22 assists with 10 goals most of which were outside the area. and finally on your tactics play the ball down the right hand side so that he can get the ball as much as possible. and 1 more thing for your STR play him as a deep lying forward support so that he can link the MID with the ATT again the perfect player for this is Sergio Aguero, and if you have enough money left sell balotelli hes very inconsistant and buy Khouma babacar in my experience with this wonderkid there is no better goalscorer on the game and play him next to Aguero obviously and put him as a poacher OR Target man Attack. i definately recommend you buy babacar in his third season for me he scored (in all competitions) 65 goals YES you read correctly 65 goals HES A ******* GOAL MACHINE. i am very confident this system will work because it has won me 7 out of 8 Prem Titles. 5 out of 8 CLs. 3 FA cups and 8 carling cups (league cups).

if i were you i would play 1 or the other, they are both pretty similar and wont link up very well. a good player for those guys would be a 1 of these Two player. Either Babacar as a target man support so he can play in Gabbi to use his immense pace or (if you have the funds) Aguero a gifted creative player that will do something out of nothing. hope this helps m8
Hi im sorry if this doesnt belong in this thread..but i belive that you are one of the best at what you know. I need help with more formation and roles not just roles. I have two ways of which i think man city should play (P.S i have made no signing yet. Either a 4-2-2-2 (two defensive mids with two wide men) or 4-3-1-2.
However I dont know what roles to play my mids in the 4-3-1-2 or my wide men in the 4-2-2-2. I play with barry-viera-toure in mid, and silva on the right and johnson/balotelli. thanks in advance and sorry if im asking alot and if this is in the wrong thread

Targetman - Support or maybe can try with Attack as well.
