What Roles and Duties Best suit my players?

I am playing as Barca. My tactic is a 4-1-3-2 (3 center mids not attacking mids)

Anyways I have Messi and Villa as a striker duo. Villa is lighting it up with 11 in 10, Messi on the other hand only has 3 but has set up 5 with an average of 7.64. I am playing Villa as a poacher and Messi as a Trequarista.

My question is for Messi... most of his most important atts seem to be highlighted under that role but it does not highlight his 20 in dribbling so I am wondering if their is perhaps a role that would suit him better (and remember he is in a striker role).

How should I play Darren Fletcher? I can never get consistent performances outrof him
 
I have signed Jo for everton because Saha got injured and broke his leg I have tried Target man Attack but just deosn't work I have got Yakubu Advanced Forward and he's scoring for fun.
 
Jo - Advanced Forward or Poacher try them, or play Yakubu - Target Man with supply, Run Onto Ball or To Feet
 
Could you let me know the best position for Clichy,Sagna Nasri and Arshavin, Vermalean, Kolcieny and Walcott. From the info i got back from Iann's player calculator I should play Clichy and Sagna has Wing Back/Defend because they had 15.6 for this position and 15.4 for Wing back/Support and 15.0 for Wing Back/Attack.

I was just wondering if I should take the highest value as the best position and duty for the player

Could someone tell me the best role for the following players, please? Luis Adriano, Douglas Costa, Vaclav Kadlec. I play in a 4-3-3 like barcelona, with kadlec at the left, luis adriano as a central forward and douglas costa at the right. They create a lot of chances, but they don't score.
 
Hello. I have a problem with real madrid and putting players on the right positions.I play 4-3-1-2 for information. So for this thread my question is following:
Where to play these
Cristiano Ronaldo (currently he is playing Attacking midfielder behind both strikers and he has set attack)
Karim Benzema (cur as Right striker set to support)
Gonzalo Hugain (cur as poacher , left striker set to attack)
Mesut Ozil (cur as left midfielder set to support, playing with xabi alonso in the middle as def midfielder and Pedro Leon on right support midf. Kaka still out)

striker problem

i play a 4 1 3 2 with liverpool as my strikers i have romelu lukaku and torres, torres is playing okay howevr romelu is not scoring goals i have tried him as a target man and poacher but he still doesnt score. what do i do is it because im in first season and he is only 17 he has good traning what do i do!!!
 
i play lukaku as a complete forward and that seems to work pretty well, although he will need time to adjust to the prem and similar

I used Romelu as a target man in FM10 and I can tell you the same story. He wasn't scoring at all, it was like playing with 10 men on the field. But eventually he became the best striker in the league. It's a sort of a player that needs time to blend in and starts to play like he should.

For FM11, you could try to play Torres as a target man and just set Romelu to any duty, the important thing is that Romelu is put to support, so he can blend in with the other striker and deliver him the balls and also be involved into creating goal scoring opportunities.

btw, did you put Romelu on the list of target men ? Is he chosen to be tm in the team tactics ?

It depends on your formation, but i suggest that you put Ozil to winger/advanced playmaker and set both "Roam from position" and "Hold up ball" to Yes, and he should cut inside too. When i played with Werder it worked for me, and it still works. Improves his game alot ! Try putting Ozil to support, so he can just create chaos in the att 3rd of the field. Oh yea, he is very bad at shooting from distance so make sure his long shots are set to rarely.

Teach Muller to play CF and it's a pure win imo (H)

Kroos is a very good versatile player, you can play him almost everywhere (if position is accomplished). I suggest playing him as an Advanced Playmaker.

Try using Dzeko as a target man. Works good for me :)
