Here is a very good plug & play tactic using a 433, Flat back 4 - 3 MCs - 2 AMwingers - FC(strong). As its is a plug & play, providing you with a results in almost every game, its not going to win you big against inferior teams but it will get you the points ( if you get my point) .

As far as i can see, the tactic has 2 major issues

 • It lacks dimensions
 • The Defensive positioning of the players
- Firstly, when using a target man, its not advisable to channel all balls through him in combination with restricting his Options. I would make the following tweaks to make the tactic more Versatile and give your players more options.

 • Give the TM mixed in all settings - (When facing AI using a player in the DMC-position, I would actually untick the TM. box, untick his HUB, set his mentality to Team Mentality and provide him with a free. This way he will
 • Be able to find space instead of being caught between the DMC.)

 • Set crossing aim of all players to mixed - they will find the Target Man anyway but this way they will only play him the ball when he is in a good spot to get control of it
- Secondly, the high d-line in combination with very low mentality and closing down settings of your DC will create a gap between your d-line and midfield when a ball is hoofed over the defence or played onto a winger behind the fullback

 • Explanation - Your defenders will be high up in the pitch when defending (high d-line) but as your DC´s are given low mentality and closing down, they will act passive and rather back away from the opponent. This way they will cut angels very well but as soon as the AI puts a more direct ball over the top, they will sink deep and as the midfielders are much more aggressive- being higher up in the field - there will now be a gap just outside the area for the AI midfielders to exploit - Tweaks - Raise the Mentality and Closing Down of your DC´s with 3-4 notches. Raise the mentality of your MCC by the same but this time lower his closing down by 2-3 notches, so that he does not get dragged out of position so easily

here is my team, using chris' version 7, would b thankful if sum1 can recommend me a tactic, wish to play 4-4-2 or 4-2-2-2.... also if possible make ronney score alot of goals

Try this 4411 of 2 versions - home & away - and tell me what you think. Use Rooney as the support Striker. As for the 2 central mc, you will see who fits where.

luxir were u just bored and had 2 much money so u just signed bobo balde 4 alaugh ur real madrid not colchester

Hi Guys i was just wondering if anyone has a good tactic to use in Serie A?

I am currently Fiorentina, having made a ot of changes (players going out/coming in) i have what i believe to be a small but strong squad. I just can't seem to decide which formation to use,

My players are

Sebastian Frey (GK)
Vlada Avramov (GK)
Darijo Srna
Gianlucca Comotto
Juan Manuel Vargas
Manuel Pasqual
Ferderico Fazio
Allessando Gamberini
Per Koldrup
Pepe
Patrick Vieira
Massimo Gobbi
Marco Donadel
Zdravko Kuzmanovic
Riccardo Montolivo
Steven Jovetic
Mario Santana
Klass Jan Huntelaar
Nikola Zigic
Alberto Gilardinho

I've tried like a 4-4-2 role with Zigic being used as the target man for flick ons etc, i have tried wide players backing up Huntelaar in the middle.

In midfield i have tried 3 CM's or 2 CM's and one DMC etc

I just don't seem to be getting the best out of my players

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Chelsea Headache

Ok I have the entire Chelsea squad they start the game with in 9.3 but I've added Theirry Henry, David Villa, Patrick Viera, Frank Ribery and some players from my old club (Kaboul, Distin, Belhadj, Alvarez and Lavezzi). It's some squad but I really need a tactic to fit it. Anyone? :@ I'm desperate! (Preferabley I'd like something attacking!)

hi there since i bought this game ive downloaded all the recommend tactics yet i still cant win nothing in any league in any country! im looking to play like aresnel/barcelona but with a 4-3-1-2 formation.at the moment im using the wenger tactic but have modified to fit into my formation but im leaking to many goals but playing the way i want so can any1 help me tighten my defence or wot should i do with the team settings

I'm using the 9.3 update. As you can see, after 2 games in the Premier League (0-0 Sunderland H, 1-1 Chelsea A) I'm sitting at 14th. Any suggestions to tactics to suit my team?

If you like using a 433( dmc-mc-mc-amr.aml), then these should suit your team rather good
If you prefer playing with 2 Fcs, then this diamond( dmc,mr,ml,amc) is rather good ( Ade as FCr)

The Standard version is a balanced approach. the Control is against very defensive teams and defensive is a SUS
