Hello All
just finishing my second season with the mighty owls after a few lucky results we finished in 4th in the prem (not bad for a squad aiming for mid table)
Im looking to have a budget of about £16 million and i thinking i need a new ST, DMC, DC, and possibly a DL, big order I know. If it helps my squad is a follows
GK: Hart
DL: Spurr
DC: Beevers
DC: Campbell
DR: Simek
MR: Feghouli
MC: Cork
MC: Cardacio
ML: Adam Johnson (top assists with 12)
ST: Owen (clubs top scorer with 19 league goals)
ST: Tudgay
SUB1: Grant
SUB2: Viduka (retiring)
SUB3: Miller (retiring)
SUB4: Gray (retiring)
SUB5: Weiss
SUB6: O'Connor
SUB7: McAllister
SUB8: Esajas
SUB9: Samuel Di Carmine

Just a quick moment to read this please.
I have observed over the past few days that this thread is just as pointless as anyone making a new thread asking which player to buy. I believe this is due to the fact that people on this forum are not helpful enough. This thread in a few places has, too, become just another thread about people complaining that they should post their inquiries here. It is so much quicker, easier, and more efficient to create a new thread, get your question answered, and then have the thread deleted, or lost somewhere in cyberspace. rather than the pain in the *** this thread has now become. On a new thread, it takes TWO posts to get your question answered, for example:
Post 1
"Hi, im playing with Leeds, with about 30 Million to spend, just got promoted into the Premier League. My last signing - Ben Alnwick, is not good enough. Can anyone suggest a good keeper to buy for Leeds, a player who may be interested in joining, for about... 15-18 million pounds. Thanks in Advance.

"Hi Anon, you can try someone like Hugo Lloris at Lyon, Igor Akinfeev at CSKA, however, Lyon and CSKA tend to up their prices to ridiculous levels. Be prepared to spend somwhere between 21-27 million, maybe a bit too much if your transfer kitty is 30 mil.

I am Newcastle, 2nd season, just promoted. I have been offered 9m, plus 2m after 10 goals from Barcelona. I love Yannick, but for a player who cost 750k 12 months earlier, 10.25m profit is worth serious consideration. What should I do??

FS - Kevin Gameiro(Lorient) would cost 7-10m, very good, and French.
DC - Laurent Koscielny(Lorient) is brilliant, maybe around 6m.
CM - Milan Badelj(Dinamo) is absolute quality, and will cost 2-3m in 2nd season.
