Nice few goals please red side of manchester... ^^)

Wigan 1-3 United.

Few stats.

In 11 Premier League games and one League Cup tie against United, they have lost them all. In those dozen games they have conceded 37 goals while scoring four.

In the last seven, all in the Premier League, they have conceded 21 and scored one.

And Wigan have won just one of their last nine Premier League games, the 4-3 thriller against Blackburn.

In the process they have scored just 27 goals in 28 games (only Birmingham have fewer, with 23).

They have won just five games all season, the joint fewest (with West Ham). Only three of those wins have come at the DW Stadium where they have scored just 16 goals. And Wigan have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 10 Premier League games.

Last season it was fun against them. Interesting to see who will be in the 11, considering we have Chelsea away on Tuesday.

Berba loves tearing apart the the bottom half of the EPL

Another hatrick anyone?

Wigan 0 - 5 Manchester United

another Berbatov hat-trick, Rooney and Nani

We have to win. We can't make another mistake, however our game away from Old Trafford isn't perfect...

Van der Sar - Rafael Smalling Vidic Evra - Nani Fletcher Scholes Giggs - Berbatov Owen/Rooney

MATCH PREVIEW
Manchester United's unbeaten record may be gone, but they retain an invincible aura in Wigan's eyes. The Red Devils have won all 12 previous encounters between the sides, averaging three goals a game and conceding just four times.

It is a daunting prospect for Roberto Martinez's struggling side, who are deep in relegation trouble having won just one of their last nine league games. Martinez believes the Latics need another 13 points to secure their top-flight status, a big ask ahead of an enormously testing run of fixtures that sees them face four of the top five in their next five games.
United, too, are entering a critical phase in their season, with Saturday's visit to the DW Stadium the first in three pivotal away fixtures in succession that could define their title challenge. Sir Alex Ferguson's men follow this trip with a daunting double-header against Chelsea and Liverpool next week.

Despite suffering just one defeat all season, United's form away from home has been a cause for concern, and Ferguson has challenged Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov to make more of an impact away from Old Trafford. Both strikers are likely to be utilised here given their respective records against Wigan: Rooney has scored nine goals in 12 games against the Latics, while Berbatov has five in eight.

Hope Wigan can get something out of this.. BUT - Can't see anything other than a fairly comprehensive Utd victory. Berbatov brace and an OG.

Confirmed MUTV squad:

-------------VDS
O'Shea - Vidic - Smalling - Evra
Carrick - Scholes - Fletcher
Nani---Rooney--Hernandez

Subs: PIG, Brown, Fabio, Rafael, Gibson, Berbatov, King

Again King is involved with first team.. I'm loving this..

Looks like Fletcher starts at right and Nani on left. Rooney and Hernandez as Strikers.

interesting line up. i would actually put nani on the right, fletcher on the left, tucking in to give evra the entire flank to run

Added United lineup to OP and Wigan team news?

Fletcher at Left would be wasted like against Milan last season. Fletcher is capable of playing as RM but not as LM. His crossing is very good too.
