What about media prediction?

The media predictions are skewed because every team in the league has the same finances, reputation and average CA levels. The clubs also have no history so the predictions were just done alphabetically.
From the next season onwards media predictions will carry more weight!

Judas Priest and Freddy Mercury in centre midfield for me lol

I was running out of names to come up with, lol!! That screenshot is meant to be of your fixture list with Pre-Season results, I'll sort that out when I get home for you!!

I got pretty creative with some of the player names, for example Smith City's entire backroom staff and playing squad all have the surname Smith with different First Names!

going to be interesting to see what happens. My Hopes for the season:

League: Top Half Finish
FA Cup: Qualify for the main draw.
FA Trophy: Third Round

just hope im not bottom at the end of it.

I have been checking this post religiously everyday i'm that excited. i forgot who walthamstow had first game....

Opening Day: 2010-2011 Season:

After all the speculation, anticipation and...something else that ends in "ation", we're finally ready to get the 2010-2011 season underway. All the teams are pretty much neck and neck and there's barely anything to distinguish them from one another, so the season should be an interesting one!
There are no favorites, no sure fire winners, everything is to play for!

I'm going to try and attend (Watch) every televised match so that I can give a little rundown on how the match unfolded!

Fixtures:

The pre-match press conferences were basically a round of everyone telling everyone else how awesome they are. Pretty much every manager tipped their opposing manager to win the league, with the exception of NSNO's manager, Duke Mulgrave.

Televised Match: WSE Slim v She Bu Shakmansurs

Both teams lined up with the same standard 4-4-2 formation to begin the match with. The press predicted a draw as both teams were evenly matched and didn't have any noticable absences.

DL/C - Jordan Xavier was touted as the key man for WSE Slim.

AMC/ST - Seeyo De Sim was touted as the key man for She Bu Shakmansurs.

The match kicked off and it looked like it would be a cagey approach from both teams, with both teams looking like they didn't want to give anything away without a fight.

Din Baxter Goal (She Bu Shakmansurs)
19: A superb through ball from She Bu Left Midfielder, Ryan Walcott saw Din Baxter through with just a defender to beat. Baxter went to the outside, getting just past the defender before hitting a superb left foot shot, over the keeper and off the cross-bar to score the first goal of the game.

Half Time Score: WSE Slim 0 - 1 She Bu Shakmansurs

Peter Pumps Goal (She Bu Shakmansurs)
47: She Bu win a free-kick on the left by-line, not more than a few yards from the half way line. A clever knock back sees Left Defender, Angh Chan free to whip a curling cross dangerously in to the area. Right Midfielder Peter Pumps rises highest and manages to head the ball home, straight past the on-looking WSE Slim keeper.

Tyrone Gerrard Goal (WSE Slim)
78: A quick counter attack sees WSE Slim with the ball close to the opponent's area. A cheeky flick on by Striker Roy Jaylin, sees substitute Striker Tyrone Gerrard just outside the area with a clear route to goal. Gerrard takes one touch before hitting a curling left foot shot that curls out of reach of the keeper and nestles itself exactly in the bottom left corner of the goal. Superb finishing.

Red Card Paul Pritchard (She Bu Shakmansurs)
87: She Bu Shakmansurs win a goal kick, which unfortunately goes straight to an awaiting WSE Slim midfielder. The ball is hit first time and sends WSE Slim Striker, Tyrone Gerrard through on goal, having just beat the off-side trap. She Bu Shakmansurs Centre Defender Paul Pritchard manages to catch up, but makes a scathing tackle right through the back of Gerrard. Gerrard is the last man and was definitely in on goal, there's no other option but to send Pritchard off.

I've typed out the results underneath the screenshot. I can see the screenshot fine, so I think maybe your resolution / something may need adjusting? If it helps, you can right click on the screenshot and choose "Open Link in New Window" that may help you see the screenshot better.

The club has to have been formed for at least three years before they get entered in to the FA cup. All our clubs have been formed in 2010, so sadly it won't be until 2013 until we see some FA Cup action.
On the plus side, that give some of us a chance to get higher up the Football League!

If nobody has any problems with it, I'm going to try and run a full season tonight and get us in to the 2011-2012 season. I can't promise that I'll be able to finish it of course, but I'll do my best.

August 2010

After our first full month of play time, the season is definitely underway! There are some clear favorites developing already and a number of teams who look like they are going to struggle unless the manager can get them all to work a little bit harder and turn things around!
There has finally been some transfer activity too, although not one club has earned, or spent a single penny! (And they've all got 5 million in the bank....greedy bastards!)
