Just over halfway through the season and the lines are being blurred again! Armory and Tekkers are neck and neck at the top of the league and the other teams are a little way behind, but still very tightly knit amongst each other!
Time for the new year and the run in on the end of the season, one of the front runners must surely dip in form soon!
It's all change again! The top of the table is definitely more exciting than the bottom, the top 5-7 teams are changing and switching positions all the time, whereas the bottom half is pretty much settling in to those same positions!
Who'll go up? Who'll go down!? Only time will tell!
Bristol open up a four point lead at the top of the table, Armory and Tekkers are STILL neck and neck and chasing closely behind, waiting for the other teams to slip up! We're definitely on the last few crucial games now, every point counts, every player needs to be at their best!
As we approach the last few games, the table erupts with people switching positions more often than Messi! Camden enjoy their first unbeaten month EVER and to show how tight the table is, they manage to jump a massive TEN PLACES from 16th to 6th.
As we come to then end of the 2010-2011 season, we've already established who's being relegated and half of the teams who will be going on to the Football League next season!
Congratulations to AFC Bristol who have been crowned Champions of the Blue Square Premier League and can definitely look forward to playing in League 2 next season! FC Sheffield and AFC Dudley are also looking forward to being in the playoffs and have a very good chance of joining Bristol in League 2 next season!
Slim, Larkhall, Exeter and Ath. Galactic all find themselves relegated to the Blue Square North / South next season. What's interesting is that Exeter and Slim are set to face off in the FA Trophy final next week. Has cup success cost them points in the league and sent them on their way to relegation misery?
Armory v Tekkers is probably the pick of the matches remaining as both teams have been closely linked at the top of the table for the majority of the season and a win for either team could push them in to the play offs.
Camden and Armory secure the last Play-Off places, with Armory managing to finish second with a final 3-0 victory over Tekkers!
With only the play-offs and FA Trophy final left, the first "Create a Club" season is almost over and it's been a crazy rollercoaster ride for most of the teams involved!
With both teams already relegated from the BSP, both Slim and Exeter will want to win the FA Trophy to salvage something from what has been a disappointing season. With nothing to lose, both teams will give their all to show that they'll bounce right back next season and will still be a force to be reckoned with!
The media billed it as a close encounter and predicted a penalty shoot-out to decide a winner, but they couldn't have been more wrong as WSE Slim destroyed an Exeter team that were second best in every area. WSE Slim finish as winners of the FA Trophy, maybe this success can set them straight to come back to the BSP next season?
what a poor season by Larkhall! So dissapointed. Just an idea but what do you think about giving us the opportunity to sack our managers if performing badly using FMRTE. It was used in another editoring game whereby you were the chairman of a club like in this game really so yeaah, it would bring us into the game a little more.
Woah! I was at the bottom at the start then went 4 points of play offs and ended up finishing 12th. Very mixed emotions season. Looking forward to next year,
Dudley got promoted when they was 22nd at one point? Great effort, shame i don't have no rivalry now, come on Halesowen 11th is alright, now lets push for promotion!
