Good tactic. I started with Athletic and had good results, despite losing 4-0 to Real Madrid. 4 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses. a question that holds true for your other tactics? when a player is sent off, what is the best fit to play with one down?
Maybe one week.
It's usually better to remove one striker.
Sorry, I'm not the author of that tactic, so I don't know.

I liked the offensive impetus of the tactic. In fact, against big teams we had a good performance in the pressure marking and we showed that we could beat any team.
The main problem was holding the result in some games. In 3 games we opened 2-0 against strong teams and took the tie in the end. maybe that late-game total defense tactic could be useful to hold the score. We also struggled against weak teams. We attacked a lot, but we didn't get the goal and ended up taking a goal on the counterattack or set pieces. Looking forward to the new version.
Another issue was player development. Despite winning games and giving players a lot of minutes, I felt that players are not developing as I would like, as the PA was almost unchanged during the season. Any more tips to improve this?

I just came back from some busy week and started testing again. Hopefully I can fix the defensive problem of the tactic.
About development, I think it's not related to the tactic.

As you can see in the prints, I got 11 wins in a row! I only lost and drew one with Barcelona and Real Madrid in the first two rounds respectively.
What I see that maybe can be improved, in addition to adjustments in the defense, is taking fewer goals from set pieces. And I also scored very little from corners, just one goal, even though I trained every week.

I tested your tactic during my play through with Birmingham. The tactic consistently outperforms when even or behind. It consistently gives up leads fast when ahead including your light version. I don't know if this is related to my team or its your tactic but i gave up an unbelievable amount of chances and goals from set pieces. Extremely inconsistent results, sometimes beating a similar team in talent 5-1 sometimes losing 1-3 with 4x the expected goals. Defenders routinely were out of position and gave up needless one on ones when the AI went for it at the end of games. The set piece routine neated me few headed goals from corners despite having a striker with 15 jumping reach, 6'4 and 15 heading. Decent tactic but I would say its far far from the finished product. Balance needs to be found in tactic and needs to not give up goals for fun at the end of games.
If we rate last year's version at a 9.5 this would be a 5.5 imo. I know its only the start.

I don't know if I understand well, but you shouldn't use the light version to hold the result. it is just to rest players when you are winning more than three goals because the main tactic wears out a lot. to hold results you just have to change the mindset from the main tactic to cautious . this made my defenders improve a lot. but as zaz said it is still a very early version and soon there will be updates
It's just an initial tactic while I check what works and what doesn't in the engine. It will improve in the 2.0 version.
